By all means upgrade. Heck, with those anemic SB's, your high-end heatsink hardly broke a sweat. Now a 3770K is a real chip. Nice and hot. Puts your heatsink to work, it does.

I would not upgrade then again I upgrade once every 4-5 years, last upgrade was an e8400
