the denim is of better quality per ounce of weight.

Diesel comes from 10oz to 20oz models. 10oz washes typically cost $160, 20oz Diesel japanese denim costs around $320.

They last longer but it's not about that, all jeans will last 5 years. It's about details, style, fit, wash, embellishments, etc.

You can appreciate them when you see them in person better than pics on the internet.
