So what game are you playing these days?

I actually put GH2 down for a bit so that I could play Marvel Ultimate Alliance gold edition. I beat the regular when it first came out but liked the game so much decided to buy the new edition. Damn this game rocks!

none really. haven't touched my wii in a long time. i still have games that are half finished and some barely started, like Twilight Princess and Red Steel.

Actually, I've been playing a lot of nothing. I've considered picking up Forza 2 more than a few times, but I just can't get over the feeling that I'll never play it. I may rent it sometime soon. Maybe I'm just biding my time until NCAA comes out in a month.

Well, even though I havent liked consoles since the Super NES, curiosity and boredome prompted me to get an Xbox 360 last week.

Have rented about two dozen games so far and discovered one thing: I will find more fun and entertainment replaying old Windows games than playing anything the 360 has to offer.
Aside from Gears of War there was absolutely nothing original or interesting I could find.
Interestingly enough, Gears of War was also the most fun out of all the games I rented.
And Oblivion is rotten compared to the computer version, but since the Windows version was dumbed down to make it digestable for the console market it wasnt super hot either.

I think I'll just keep renting GOW long enough to beat it and then sell the system.
After that I'll go for the PS3.
Assuming that stinks I will try to find a Wii. As silly as those things might seem just about everyone I know says they're awesome.

EDIT:
If anyone has suggestions for good 360 games I will be more than happy to listen.

Just got addicted to Forza 2 over the weekend. Also playing Final Fantasy III whenever I find myself in a situation for DS gaming plus playing original Xbox games like Super Monkeyball Deluxe and Ultimate Spiderman with my son.

I feel the same way about forza 2. I know that I'll regret buying it after playing it for a week or two. Not a big fan of racing games.

I'm still dedicated to R6:Vegas and recently picked up playing some GRAW2.

I play Guitar hero 2 on occasion, but I suck at hard difficulty so it gets me pretty frustrated.

I also have tried playing Medieval total war II on PC and man is that game boring. Hoping to sell it and get some of my money back 🙂

Guitar Hero 2 is the only thing that would qualify as a game I'm still playing. I beat the career on hard mode last weekend, but haven't picked it up since (I know I'll get an itch to play it again soon, just because it's fun to jam out for no reason at all).

It sounds as if you've hated console gaming for quite some time, and you never really gave yourself a chance at liking any games. Here's a tip to save yourself some time: the PS3 isn't going to give you anything over the 360, so save your time there. Good luck with the Wii, also, since you'll probably get bored of the game selection at this point in time pretty quickly.

Since my 360 is in its coffin (to be sent to MS today) its up to my Wii and PC to give me lots of gaming joy. I just started Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Wii and so far so good. Its been a long time since I've played an action/adventure type of game like this so I plan on giving Zelda some serious playtime. I'm also playing Tomb Raider: Anniversary on the pc and its a wonderful game especially for longtime TR fans.

If it takes hundreds of hours to get into them, they really arent good games are they?

Off the top of your head, which ones did you try?

I've only been playing CS: 1.6 and CS: Source recently.

I'm getting my Wii back tomorrow and I think I'm going to pick up Super Paper Mario and get into that.

What are you into? If you want a good RPG Mass Effect is coming out this October(ish) and it is looking awesome. I really enjoyed Crackdown, and despite bad reviews I've heard that Shadowrun is pretty good. The demo for Shadowrun is on XBLM so you can try it out. The Halo 3 beta was awesome too, so I don't think that the retail game will disappoint. Army of 2 is coming out and that looks like another good game, especially if you have a friend to go Co Op w/.

I was playing Oblivion for a while on my PS3. I took a small break and started up again with FF12. I decided to finish off all the rare monsters/bosses along with all the rare bazaar goods. So far, tornsoul is mine, and I defeated Yazmat in one sitting (3 hrs, I had 3 99 characters too... it took soooo long). The new patch makes PS2 games so alive and crisp so I've been on FF12 for sometime now.

I haven't beaten the game yet, I've just been doing everything now in hopes I can stretch it out before the downtime for FF13.

Warhawk Beta... even with all the system freezes

how is it? looks really fun.

So far I like it a lot. The game is pretty similar to the Battlefield series but much easier to pick up. I was up and flying in a Warhawk in no time. Some things need to be balanced a bit but the game has definite potential and should be a must own for all PS3 owners. One of the big pluses has been that you can bring up to 3 other ppl online with you, but on a small tube television it makes it hard to see what you are doing.

 to Incognito.
