multiple knee surgeries.
got infected.. not going to play this season..
swore to come back next season..
guy is a freak (physically wise). hell of a player.

Yep. He just wouldn't be the monster he is now. If Bonds never went on 'roids, he'd still be a first ballot HOFer and one of the better players of all-time.
