Every review or mention of an apple product on any of the tech sites leads to a torrent of commenters talking about "my samsung tablet does this", or "the gpu benchmark on that is better". Just go to engadget or gizmodo and find the first article mentioning the new ipad to see an example.
Just who are these folks, and what motivates them? Is this the remnants of the ever shrinking PC enthusiast domain lashing out at conformity in technology? Does it drive them nuts that people are starting to buy technology without concern for the specs, as long as the device works? Do they not feel wanted anymore since their parents are not constantly asking them to resolve a driver conflict or update antivirus software, even though they always claimed how annoying it is?
These people seem to think they are the purveyors of the technology space or something. I guess it's akin to the hardcore bikers with full custom bikes seeing some weekend rider from the suburbs out on his 100% stock harley.
Nothing good shall come of this
