dammnit so much information...:(

Point is, if I am lookign for a good powerful and light all purpose drill that will LAST and is quality, woudl the HILTI SFH 151-A hammerdrill be a bad choice?

What would be a better choice? a Mikata one?

I have heard great things about the Panasonic 15.6V drills. They are light, well balanced and have 3.5AH NiMh batteries. Link at Amazon. They are not hammer drills, but I don't know too many people that really need them.

For the record I think Dewault is overated. They lasted no longer than our cheap drills. I have heard good things about Hilti but no first hand experience. I have owned a couple of Craftsman drills and been pretty happy with them considering the price. If you are a contractor or someone that is hard on tools you might look at the Rigid cordless tools at Homedepot. They have a lifetime warranty plan on them that includes the batteries! I have not heard great things about the tools themselves however. Makita, and Bosch are top notch as well but you pay a premium.

I am not a contractor so I usually buy cheaper tools. I can buy 3 Crasftsman or Ryobi drills for the price of a high quality one from Bosch, etc. and since I don't abuse them on a job site day in and day out they last me a while. I will seriously consider the Panasonic when I am in the market for a new drill however.

3.5 is a lot.
