For me, it'll be the end of my first year in college and in the US.

Still a lot to work for!

What did you accomplish/did? Became dad/mom? Found SO? etc etc etc

Edit: Have to say that 2003 wasn't a really good year for me too. Here's :wine::beer::wine: for a better year 2004.

Happy New Year!! :beer::D

I got laid off from my job of 3.5 years, got a job that pays 10 grand less a year and that I don't nearly enjoy as much.

'03 will be a year I'm glad to see go away.

Greatest year of my life. Got my own apartment, did great in my first year of college, and I got engaged. I cannot ask for anything better (except a new digi cam and a new TV. :D )

Got promoted
Started a side business (only lasted for 3 weeks though)
Spent $15K at Newegg and still increased cash from $20K to $70K
Invested $30K
Paid off two cars and left over CC debt
Damn....2003 was an awesome year!

Wow, Congrats! Writing books is something I could never do.

For myself, probably finding a great SO.
Spent a lot of time and money making my car really fun to drive (and did the work myself)

Got married.
Watched the year go buy in a blur as I lived out of hotels and my car for most of it while doing POS installs at 18 locations and putting in our first building of a new franchise.

Ohh...good thread.

Managed to keep my cash flow consistent throughout the year
Started flight lessons, finally
Good great grades through school, kept right on track (i graduate in the spring!)
Broke up with my SO of 6 years, that was good and bad.
And finally...started enjoying my life a bit more. :D

Got a good job at a utility company, celebrated 5 years with the girlfriend, broke 500 posts with lots of useless OT posts.

Oh yeah and I saw Paris Hilton naked woo hoo!

Got laid off from my favorite job ever, got a new job, got hired back to my old job, and am currently holding down two jobs.

Got good grades in college, etc. It was a successful year.
