Im use to the post reply button to be on the right and the topic review is in decending order. Those are my only few gripes. Everything else will take awhile to get use to.

Well I like the embedded image feature and hopefully we will be able to use custom avatar's as rumored.

I don't think this is something the admins got right, just a feature of VB that i like better than FT. I like how when you login you land where you were before. I really used to hate having to click back a couple times and then refresh the page in order to post a reply. And since my posts per page was about 100 I sometimes had to go back to the first page of the post because the page count when I'm logged in doesn't match the page count when i'm not logged in.

Forums are fast. Other than that there really isn't a difference for me. Hopefully we will have a search that works, if that happens that'll be another plus in my book.

There is some bad though: inline images, overall look and feel, D&D nerd avatars.

I think they did it about as "right" as any change to completely new software could be done.

The skin needs work or the ability to change.

The free space at the end of everybodys posts needs to be reduced.

I'd like to have more options with avatars

I think the images could be either a good thing, or abused and a bad thing. The mods will need to be on top of that though, and it will be fine.

The sidebar would be awesome to have again.

So, #1 issue is the "10 ft interface" feel of it though.

I like the new forums much better than the old ones. Sure, there are some minor issues here and there, but overall, it is a better experience.

There is one glaring issue though: no iPod Man avatar!

I like it a lot; less bugs, faster, more features down the line. I just wish that there is a forum navigation bar at both the top and bottom of the page (it's only at the top right now). I think this can't be changed in vB I believe.

War! Huh! What is it good for?

say it again!

fixed :awe:

oh cool, i forgot about the vb quote thing. nested quotes are gone!

i kind of miss the quick reply "+" at the bottom to hide it. the only other forum i visit has the ability to collapse that. it woould be cool to be able to collapse the categories you want to hide on the main forum list as well.

that said, i like the new interface. its a bit large, but no real issues since i have a monitor made after 1997 with a resolution that gives plenty of space. i do like the color scheme for the most part, even tho im usually prone to pick darker color schemes.

there is a forum jump drop down at the bottom right.

Well so far, it works. Can't really complain there.

My main complaint is the "thank you for posting" page. WTF, just reload the thread! Fortunately, it's not there from quick reply. :D
