So far...

like--that it appears that music art is downloaded automatically now instead of through iTunes.

like the bottom control panel with ability to turn on flashlight.

dislike--

1. scrolling in safari seems to have been changed. Acceleration is more like Android now.

2. pointless animations. Android actually has a similar animation where you see the thing opening from the icon. But it has fewer frames so it is less jarring

3. can't find text search. b/c I don't always have internet access, I can't use SIRI as a replacement.

4. Can't just pick an album from an artist now, but have to scroll through songs of all albums

5.

The animations are annoying and the icons now look too much like a Fisher Price toy. There are now doubt good things about it but I haven't noticed them yet.

Dislike:

1. White background for the messaging app.
2. Zoom animations take too long.
3. Went a bit overboard in the text-only focus of the OS.

Like:

1. It's way more functional in general. A lot of that functionality comes from copying features in Android and apparently BB10, but whatever. They finally got a decent control centre.
2. It actually runs beautifully on an iPad 2 to my surprise, and the even bigger surprise is that it runs OK on an iPhone 4 when you turn off the background processes and some of the eye candy.
3. It introduced the iPhone 5S as the flagship iOS 7 iPhone, and that thing is awesome.

Hate:
Animations.
Color pallet is whacked. Not enjoying the pastels and neon.

Love:
-Flat design.
-Interface improvements, little to medium things that are different everywhere.

Likes.

1. Control center, quick access to wifi, bluetooth toggles and brightness settings.
2. While the execution is a bit messy, I do appreciate the attempt at a flatter look and removal of most of the skeuomorphism.

Geez, I can't think of anything else, haha.

Dislikes.

1. Animations, they need to be shorter/faster or an option to turn them all off.
2. Some of the transparent backgrounds don't look good. Wish they were darker transparencies so that the backgrounds don't look light gray on a black wallpaper.
3. Parallax effect is buggy, my wallpaper often jitters unnaturally when it's enabled (fortunately this can be turned off)
4. Notifications still are bad. A lot of my app notifications such as from Skype and Google Voice don't show up in the notification tray reliably despite notifications for the app turned on.

Likes:
More jailbreak features baked in. Control center is very nicely done.
iTunes Radio.
Fresh coat of paint with the furniture re-arranged in places, but still very familiar.
Safari got a lot better.
Everything handles very well on a 4S.
Allowed to turn off Parallax.
Still get great battery life.

Dislikes - Not as good on iPad. I really like it on my 4S, but the iPad needs refinement:
Too bright/white in certain conditions like in the evening or with lights off.
Using 4-5 finger pinch to close has a broken animation for me - every single time.

The Animations/Transitions are wayyyy too long!!!! Especially launching apps and opening folders. It drives me bonkers. There's nothing elegant about it. Just obnoxious.

I really like it a lot better than iOS6. One in particular that I have not seen written about anywhere are the better choices regarding mailboxes and folders. Being able to hide items and All Drafts/Sent/Trash are awesome for my workflow.

The few things that are bothering me are:

1. I am not use to the calendar and miss the month view with list.

2. The location of the "trash" or "delete" is not consistent in mail (and possibly other apps).

3. Deleting individual texts takes too many steps.

iOS 7 runs pretty badly on my iPad 3: lag on the keyboard, animations stutter, scrolling lag and crashes on safari... Very disappointing. On the other hand it runs flawlessly on my iPhone 5, liking it so far.

Like:
Changed design, control panel, iTunes radio, improved Safari, kept me from buying a 5S do to the new phones feeling.

Dislikes:
Color choices, broken iMessage.

Ok. Figured out my weather notification issue. Prior to 7 update I had multiple cities set up and nyc was listed twice. I deleted one instance and not it works.

Since it wasn't improved in iOS 7, I will say the way search results are presented in the app store. Only one per page? That's really dumb.
