But has noone with an NF4 board (ALC850) managed to output any audio signal through spdif out, using the NVidia audio drivers at all, ever?
I just learned the hard way that the NV drivers somehow "disable" your digital outputs (I can see the signal in the nVMixer but I can't hear a thing), and therefore the only thing you're left with is the crappy Realtek driver which even in its latest version is just terrible in some games (sound stuttering, cutting out). This is just ridiculous...
Do you guys think we will see a release of the nV audio driver someday which actually WORKS for this chipset? Or is this a hardware issue?
