3 dogs and 4 cats in a condo always creates problems with neighbors.

You should have told your gf's mother no, unless you and your gf like living in a menagerie.

Leaving trash cans out from Thursday to Sunday is doing nothing but asking for trouble.

If the HOA gets involved in this dispute, you will lose.
Well these cats were raised from birth and if we said no, they would go to the humane society. My gf loves animals in general, particularly hers, and couldn't do that. Sucks, I agree, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

I know I'm asking for trouble, its on my list 😛

Does she like to park her car where you put your trash can. Maybe that is why she moved it.
Nah. Her house is across the street. Plenty of room for her to back out of her driveway into the street without being near our trash cans. They were off of the road itself. I see her back out numerous times with no problem. 😉

I bet that you signed CC&R's for your condo that say you'll put your trashcans away within a certain time period after collection. While she might be a bit zealous on pointing out when you don't, your still not following the terms you voluntarily agreed to when moving in.
I dunno about the HOA terms, but I know city of Raleigh requires them to be put away...I think 24 hours after collection? Me leaving them out was being an asshole, yes; but the first time she did this it wasn't yet 24 hours after pickup.

My point was if you did and had to deal with neighbors, or had two cents worth of brain cells, you would know that (A) she started this sh!t {yes, I know I'm continuing it} and (B) calling the authorities before you talk to someone about a problem you have is not the thing to do.

I own 4 homes, 1 compound, and 2 apartment buildings. I deal with 'neighbors' all the time. Sorry, but from what you posted you are the problem here (your just not happy that OT isn't jumping up and down and backing you up). Now, I don't think your trying to be the problem (well, maybe now with the trash BS), but you have no business having 7 animals in that condo. I bet that little issue didn't come up when animal control was there. You need to find homes for some of them and control what the ones you keep do. Litter boxes were invented for a reason.

We have two litter boxes in the house. The cats go stiry crazy if they're in here for too long.

I agree I'm continuing the problem by not ignoring her, not disputing that. As I said, its on my list 😉

The fact of the matter here is that I didn't start this dispute, but unless my common sense takes over I'll damn well finish it. No one else in the neighborhood minds our animals enough to talk to us about it. No one minds the three-four other cats loose 24/7 in the neighborhood. No one minds the barking huge dog a couple houses down. This bitch just wants to make trouble 'cuz she's bored, or whatever her real motivation is; that's the best I can surmise.

At some point we may take the high road and confront her nicely, or just ignore it; till then I'm gonna rant, I'm gonna rave, and I'm gonna fvck with her mind a little 😉

Hahaha

Cat's that are outside and annoying people end up dead. It's not difficult to leave a cup of anti-freeze out for kitty to drink.

I say this as a cat owner. Your cat belongs INSIDE no matter how much you think or it thinks it deserves to go outside it doesn't. It's your pet, keep it INSIDE. Cats are very very destructive and shouldn't be outside unsupervised.

very good point. I have to say if an issue came up again, we would definitely keep them in all the time.

I guess my whole point is I don't think there WAS a problem like she said, and the real problem is that she didn't come talk to us about it as neighbors. She started this BS and hopefully I won't finish it 😉

GF read 'em. She bought the place, not me.

You might want her to brush up on them, I'm sure there is a section on non-owners living there and how they are bound to the same rules (it's pretty boilerplate CC&R stuff). At least you can get out of them easy if you move out, your GF is stuck with them until she sells 🙂

Oh I know I have to abide by the rules, just letting you know that at least she is aware of the rules 😉

I'll probly just hold my temper (see list again 😛) from now on w/her, because she does want to hold onto this place to rent it out when we move out 😱

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Fvcking great, I'm still laughing

Bsobel is right BTW, you are the problem neighbor. Do not think for a minute that just because others haven't come and complained that is means no one is annoyed by those animals.

I have no doubt you are violating numerous CCR's and you need to be aware that if you are and it goes before the assosciation then they can take your condo from your GF and sell it for these violations. You need to be working on finding those animals new homes ASAP.

Either keep your rodents inside or kill them. Cats are useless and disgusting, and should not be running around outdoors.
Uh-oh, my neighbor's dog who does nothing but bark at every little noise for just about every second he is outside (which is 2/3 of the day) is outside and barking. I guess I should go get a shotgun or a bowl of antifreeze, instead of being a good neighbor and asking him to shut the dog up.

Backstory:

Moved into condo subdivision and gf's Mom's animals got dumped on us 'cuz she decided to move to NZ. So we are stuck with 3 dogs & 4 cats in a 2-story 1200 sq ft condo. Anyway, we let the cats out a lot not thinking it would be a problem 'cuz they used to live in a very large neighborhood that was pretty spread out. Well, the stupid asian bitch across the street (No I'm not racist, don't go there) comes over and complains that she found our gray cat crapping in her garden. Made up some BS about being allergic or something. Also said he knocked the wreath that was hanging on the wall outside, which was like 5 feet up in the air; yeah um no. Anyway, my gf apologized and told the woman she would keep Ewok (cat) inside; which she actually did.

Next day Animal Control shows up about a complaint on the cat. Which means that bitch had to call animal control several days ago, and then came over to "talk" to us about it. That's a GREAT way to make neighbors. The animal control officer told us she had no clue why the woman called them over a cat, she knows cats need to go out. She told us to just let him out at night so the woman wouldn't see him, LOL. {Side note: turns out there is another gray cat in the neighborhood that looks a lot like Ewok, fvcking bitch}

A few days after this, we find a leaf in our carport that had a piece of what looked like cat sh~t stuck to it. As in the leaf was wrapped around the sh!t, so the woman could pick it up and put it in our car port. Of course I don't have evidence of it, but how the fvck else would it have gotten there?

Fast forward a couple months. Trash pickup is on Thursday. Our trash can is at the street still on Friday, as are a lot of other people's. "Someone" came and moved out trash & recycling cans INTO THE MIDDLE OF OUR FRONT YARD, away from the street. I had enough, I went and talked to the fvcking bitch (very nicely of course) and asked her if she had seen anyone move our trash cans. I explained the previous "harassment" we had gotten. I explained about the trash can. She said "Oh well yeah, I guess we kinda are supposed to have the trash cans put away after they are emptied." :mad; Don't tell me she didn't do that sh!t, giving me that bullsh~t reason why someone might move our trash cans :|

Fast forward to today. Trash came Thurs. I left the cans out, its now Sunday. I left 'em out on purpose, just to piss her off. I go outside and the cans are moved half way up our driveway now. I'm tired of this fvcking sh~t. So I go inside, get a piece of paper and a big ol' Sharpie to leave a nice message for the ****** :|

http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/fbrdphreak/psychobitch.jpg

I'm real close to going and talking to her again, and pretty much blatantly accusing that fvcking bitch. However our HOA agreement says something about not confronting neighbors w/problems, we're supposed to go to the HOA committee

Fvcking psycho asian bitch who has nothing more to do than sit at home all day and play these petty bullsh~t games :|

EDIT to fix emoticons

You really, should move the trash cans in a timely fashion. 😉 Waah.

I hate when my neighbors leave the trash cans out;
I do not live next to the dump, no reason to leave Garbage cans out.

So go tell him to shut it up then. Loud dogs are annoying as well and should also be put inside or killed.

I think his point is she went to the athorities before she talked to them about having a problem with the cats.

She was being a ****** by not talking to them first.

yip, nothing worse than some dumbass neighbor who let their cats roam the neighborhood. keep them inside.

Your a bit of an extremist aren't ya? There is a third option, we had two german shepards that would bark during the day whenever someone was near the house, so we had them de-barked when we moved into the neighborhood. See we knew it would annoy our neighbors, but we didn't need them to come tell us it would.

We suggested those barking collars to this guy, as some of them have features that stop the high pitched noise after a certain amt of time. His reason for leaving his dog outside all the time and not somehow making it stop barking is that it would warn him of trouble since he had a wife, child, and sick mother or something living w/them. How is your dog supposed to warn you of danger when it barks everytime a leaf falls or a twig cracks....

hmm i do not think that just the "stupid asian chick" is the phsyco one in this.

i hate wild cats. there was one that would always have kittens in my garage. i would find half eaten animals in there all the time. Move a box and kittens would scatter.

finally had to set traps for the darn cat. first time i drove 10 miles out of town and let it go. it came back in a few months. 2nd time about 50 miles away. if it comes back I'm just going to shoot the fvcker. if you cant control the animals then give them away.

oh and put your garbage cans away. It looks nasty and makes the area look like trash.
