No not every year. Most years. The data is very strong and quite clear on this point.? how so? you seriously think that every year the flu shot is administered that the it is effective? it's not exactly common for it to be effective against the flu.

probably too late by that time.
i had the stomach flu before and had to keep working, they just gave me a plastic bag to puke in
There's no such thing as a stomach flu. Influenza is a respiratory disease. What you had is an entirely different virus that is not even the slightest bit related to influenza.
Thats very nice but its still called "stomach flu". Just like a "cold" is not cold at all, but still called a "cold".

All of the ignorance that surrounds the flu shot comes from people who have no idea what the flu actually is. People who get the flu shot will get what you refer to as "the stomach flu", and then start spouting off how the flu shot doesn't work, when in reality it worked perfectly.
They think that feeling like shit for a few days after they got the flu shot means that the flu shot gave them the flu.
People think that strep throat is the flu. They think the common cold is the flu. They think that stomach viruses are the flu.
People just don't get it. It's really not that difficult to understand.
In fact, I recently realized that I have not known a single person to actually be diagnosed with the flu. I have never had the flu. I'm 30 years old. I know lots of people who get really sick in the winter and lots of people who get stomach flus.
So before there were flu shots or with our without the flu shot, I still have not gotten the flu.
I put flu shots and homeopathy in the same group... both are devices of the devil.
We all know that vaccenes cause Autism, right? :wark:

Vaccines 'better tested' than antibiotics, vitamins
"Vaccines are the safest, best-tested things we put in our bodies," Offit said. "They are better tested than antibiotics, better than vitamins, certainly better than nutraceuticals."

It's still a misnomer. 😛
Nothing, and I mean nothing worse than getting a case of the pukes and trots at the same time.
