Not that it matters, but Will Smith's and his family's reaction picture is in reference to the Gaga performance. (you can see in the picture in picture in lower right hand corner what they are reacting to.)

Are you sure. I think that pic on the lower right is more of an advertisement than what is going on. Plus, I heard that he posted a twitter pic with his family's reaction to Miley and it was essentially this.

That said, I didn't watch the show and am only going by what I've heard/seen from out-takes.
 
I watched this w/o sound and all I could think the entire time was that this was some japanese television show. At least, that's certainly what it looked like they were trying to pull off...
