I find it hard to believe that the performance of titan with 50% more bandwidth than the 680, will be more than 50% better than the 680, an already extremely bandwidth bottlenecked card.

True only shading powa increased past 50%, it like 60%-65% more (75% more shaders but at 80%-90% the speed).
Other metrics like texture and pixel fillrate only increased like 30% at most
