they as if they can leave soem literature...and i say no im not going to read it...they were kinda shocked and said goodbye and just left...


i told my mom this story yesterday and she was liek ..you shouldnt have doen that my sister agreed..they said i should have just taken it thanked them and tossed it if i didnt want to read it

i told them i would have felt worse tossing it away when soemeon else might have had a better use out of it...

was i wrong or rude?

this is the first time ive ever done this, i mean i wasnt mean to them, or said it in a bad way ..i just spoke to them liek i would anyone else..
 
I've done the door-to-door knocking before... from my perspective, I think you did the right thing. Why give the literature to somebody who would instantly throw it away? I'd prefer honesty more than anything. Of course, I'd be disappointed, but at least I haven't wasted literature.

Just curious, what church were they from?

i dont really know....when i told them no they kinda were shocked then an uncomfortable pause then goodbye and left..


i figure this gives me better hope for salvation....im sure they must be holding candle vigils for the doomed guy (me) who wont even take a pamphlet
 
I would run and put in those contact lenses that make your eyes look like cat's eyes, and then I would put fake blood in my mouth, and put in some plastic vampire teeth for good measure.

there are always these people handing out stuff at my local skytrain station. i took some and felt obligated to read them...

As well as wearing your goat skull and wolf skin as a cloak. Then ask them if they will be staying for dinner.
 
Reminds me of the time 2 evangelists came to my door and asked me if I wanted to live my afterlife in eternal peace and happiness with the Lord to which I answered, no thanks and shut the door.😕
 
At least they didn't try and sell it to you, I've had 'door to door' try and sell me the good old, Watchtower....

If you had taken whatever they had they would be back, probably within the week. If you're not interested it's best to just tell them that.
