So this is what TB feels like?

So i've been living off of 80G's for a few years now.... pretty crazy since my photoshop programs and just a few games will cap it out easily.

Now that I have 1 TB + my old PATA hard drive.... I don't know what to do with all this space!

What should I do?

I have a 1.8TB raid 5 in my server, it's awesome. I have room for 4 more hard drives too, when I need it I'll do a raid 10.

Just avoid the seagate 7200.11 drives 😱

I thought this was going to be about someguy that made some money, dropped off the grid, and wound up with Tuberculosis

Thought you were talking about tuberculosis from the title

hehe, me too, or i thought it was the initials of some person.

i was thinking about getting a 4 bay jbod/spanning enclosure and throwing in 4x 1 TB drives. That would add to the 2 TB or so I have now, lol.

I don't know that I need that much though as I still have a bunch of free space left.

Just be sure to backup nightly and you should be fine. The ones being manufacturered at this very moment are hopefully better.

porn. lots of porn.
Sadly, thats the bulk of my 1TB as well. In ISO format, ripped directly from my DVD's. Outside the computer, on disc, I probably have hundreds of terabytes of porn. The most favorite get put on the computer to bulk up my DC++ share.
Got tired of Linux iso's.
