So they want to put chips in driver licenses now?

Saw this today on the news!

What happens if it stops working? I'm sure it can survive the washing machine but what about the microwave? :evil:

If you get pulled over and the coppers say you need to get it replaced you just nuke it (again) when you get back from DMV. :laugh:

As much as I think this stuff is cool it's only going to get abused by the so called higher uppers. 🙁

Duh! It would be intentional to zap the chip or whatever is in the license.

Think about it!

With everyone walking around with this in your pocket/purse and something really bad happens in a store they have EVERYONE's identity at the crime scene. YOU will be called for interviewing. I'm the type that prefers to stay the fuck out of others business and not be bothered. So if I'm at Walmart at the pharmacy minding my own business and some joeblow wants to try to steal a stereo I don't want to be bothered with it. That's just one way they could use it.

Like the arty, attendance to public events, they got you! Something goes down guess who gets a knock or a call?

This IMO is much worse than that tax by mile shit they want to try.

I could never understand how the romans took Athena and ended up with Minerva.

As for the article, I skimmed through it and I don't really understand why they claim they need these rfid tags. At a glance, it looks like they'll be for tallying purposes but (using the rally example) what kind of an anti-government rally requires you to sign in?

None of course but serrupticiously gathering information seems a priority now. 🙁

Well when they start putting in a GPS mechanism in every vehicle to be able to know how many miles you drive every year so they can tax you on it, they will then have a problem that they won't know where you are when you are not driving and thus not be able to tax you on how much you walk and wear out the pavement and sidewalks. So if they need to increase taxes on how much you walk every year to raise revenue for all these bailouts we have been having and also so they can make new highways and sidewalks, then they can do it with this new chip since it won't take much to make it a GPS device for humans.

I don't mind if they put chips in my drivers license as long as it comes with a side of salsa.

A hammer would work much better.

Come on, you mean you've never fallen into a puddle somewhere and quickly tossed your pants into a microwave to dry them? :devious;

"Enhanced driver's licenses give confidence that the person holding the card is the person who is supposed to be holding the card, and it's less elaborate than REAL ID," Napolitano said in a Washington Times report.

Best! Line! Evar! It's not like someone could use someone else's REAL ID to go to an "Anti-American Rally." :roll: I think they're stuck on stupid with this REAL ID bullshit.
