So these potatoes in my fridge are growing...

So I bought these potatoes before I went on my low carb diet and lost a crapload of weight. Since I have neglected them,they have started to grow in my fridge!

Anyhow, I live in FL, could I just go outside and plant them or something?

Yeah I'm already off the diet, I'll have to take pics later. I probably won't bother if I have to do the toothpick thing and all, I was just thinking I could throw em in the ground and see how it goes. I figure they would do damn well over my septic. The grass is always tall as hell in that spot...

Hmm, you "neglected the potatoes." How long is "neglected?" Four weeks? Six months? If they are growing roots already...I wouldn't eat'em!! *puke*

Just throw'em in the ground. The suspended-in-water trick will work to grow roots, but it sounds to me like your potatoes are already Seymour-ized. :shocked:
