So theres this new lens attached to my camera

Nice lens, but the shot screams point & shoot camera with that much sharpening... good composition and colors though.. 🙂 Could be a flickr thing after resizing...

I really like my old Minolta 28-75 f2.8... Not quite L standard when wide open, but.... For the range and general use, it's comparable...

These lenses are quite as ideal with the aps-c sensors compared to FF, but still.. It's a nice walk-around for landscape type work... Good distortion control, good light for accurate focusing... And it'll still be ticking when I move to a FF camera later...

ah, the 24-70 f/2.8L... The one i really wanna get rid of, and get a Sigma 24-70 f/2.8... Seriously, the weight kills this thing as a walk around lens. Plus no IS, makes it hard to secure a sharp photo for me. But then again, you can argue I just need to "lift some weights". But to me, that kind of ruins the whole "walk around" label of this lens.
