Dude, how could you forget Starks? /amdisappoint

I almost included him, but then I'd have to defend his super thugishness, too. No--he wasn't that bad, but he had much of that streetballer in him that annoyed me. serious talent, of course--like everyone today, don't get me wrong--just not the game that I call basketball.

Man, I loved that Sonics team. Payton, one of my favorite players of all time.

Gary Payton has/had the most perfectly-shaped head of any human that I have ever seen. I submit that this contributed greatly to his superior skills.

LOL, that was unexpected. What's your opinion of Shane Battier's head? D:

duuuude.

when Battier was still a Dukie, buddies and I went to one State/Duke game (home game for the Wolfpack), wearing fake Shane Battier heads that we created with bald masks and markers. We were the "Shane Battier Hair Club."

good times... :awe:

It always looked like a black q-tip to me. Jordan's on the the other hand is enviable.

I think they both had very aerodynamic domes.

Jordan was strangely hindered by the absence of, or improper symmetry created by, which ears had gold loops on a particular evening.

The single diamond he'd wear in one ear is probably worth more than everything I own combined.

His Hitler mustache is worth more than everyone on ATOT combined.

The technicals were BS. The offensive fouls from Miami is what keeping the Knicks in it. I'm going to give Lin a TO quota of 8 for this game. 😛

I wish this game didn't start at 4pm Pacific... WELL PLANNED NBA/TNT.

NBA games start at 7PM eastern almost everyday. Especially east coast games.

The last games start at 1030PM eastern time and won't finish until 1AM. It is the only sensible way to squeeze in 12 games on a random Tuesday.

Carmelo is 1/8 and Lin's got 5 turnovers with only 2 assists.

Given that I'm surprised Miami is only up by 1 point, especially after that first few minutes of Miami dominating before NY took the time out.

Lin struggling pretty hard, although Anthony isn't that great either

would still prefer Lin on the floor over Davis though

Lin definitely looks out of his element. He playing too loose with the dribble, and also seems to panic when he gets in trouble.

regular season, yeah maybe. But when comes playoff time, you need real star/s who can take over a game and carry the team. I don't think Lin can do that yet. Melo can do that, but not in D'Antoni's system, it just doesn't suit him. Stoudemire is over the hill and doesn't have the same explosiveness inside.

NY need to either change the coach or get other top players that fit in D'Antoni's system. I like your lineup, they will be consistent, hard playing bunch of guys, and can compete night in and night out when really good team doesn't take regular games seriously. But in playoff when good teams kick it up a notch, this lineup just isn't athletic or skill enough to beat those top playoff teams.

I pulled this post up from a few pages back because this post is on point.
The current game against the Heats shows this. They need someone like Carmelo to carry the team.
