Would have had a couple more if jefferies could get the damn ball in the hoop.

He's been playing well since the lin era began (3/5 tonight), but for the season he's still a 35.5% shooter, lol. Fields and Shumpert had solid nights.

Besides what he's bringing to the game, he also making the NBA a lot of money. They said this is the 4th sold out game of the Wolfs, this guy is selling tickets.

Granted he's playing better but he reaaaaallly needs to get the easy baskets. Don't forget Novak, he did right by the Knicks tonight.

They're working him like war horse. I agree the dantonio needs to give my boy some rest. He's gonna get burn out in a couple of more games if they work him at this pace. He ain't got Kobe's stamina!

Novak's been on fire in the Lin era. He was 8-21 over 23 games before Lin, but is 16-31 since Lin. When he get's home tonight, he'll probably poke the baron davis voodoo doll a little bit more, hoping to keep him sidelined. :p

The reporting on the sports sites are saying that Lin led the Knicks to yet another win.

Yeah, I guess so, as he was still often a playmaker, but so many of the other players stepped up. I was a little ambivalent about his shooting in the second half though. Perhaps Novak, Shumpert, and Fields should have gotten even more shots than they did. But then again, he did dish out 8 assists.

Still, as much praise as Rubio got, he had the same shooting percentage as Lin, at 5/15 for Rubio.

Or come up lame with a hamstring injury or something. This is a pretty unique situation, it's not like he's been brought up from playing in the D-League all season, and you're right, coach better watch it.

His execution wasn't there partially because of fatigue, but I also think they played him well, starting with Rubio, and this is going to be one of those good learning experiences once he sees the tape.

He may remind people of Nash, but he definitely doesn't know the angles like Nash and even Rubio does to thread his passes.

Can't blame Lin for what the media says. It's all business. Lin is what's generating revenue at the moment so they're going to make wild statements to draw in attention. I agree though, tonights win was more due to teamwork and solidarity than the output of one man.

At today's game, a woman had a sign saying:

well? go ahead and acknowledge it. then again, i'm not counting on it. you're the same clown who hasn't acknowledged lebron is a proven choker, as mentioned by every single major sports network. :D:D:D

I can post plenty of games I have tape of that show the media just latched onto a story that is an easy sell. In the other thread I already showed you some data comparing the "closer" that is Kobe to other players, Lebron included. Selective bias does little to persuade me.

Kevin love had 21 rebounds? Wow.

He has been in beast mode for a few years now. He is easily the best power forward in the league right now, making it downright stupid that Minnesota didn't lock him up for 5 years.

That's the thing really, I don't know if his TOs is a function of a lack of choices to dish passes to, or just him trying too hard. In either case, being an undrafted rookie and having just come off the bench to play and win 5 straight is an accomplishment in and of itself and expecting him to be perfect with absolutely no shortcomings is asking a lot. The starting lineup save for a couple of them are essentially a bench team at this moment. If and this is a big IF, Melo falls in line, the depth will be so deep, they could make a serious run for the playoffs.

. Completely agree. Right now he's like a rare diamond in the rough. Hopefully he won't burn out or plateau.

Overall it's disgusting...hopefully they'll bench Lin soon so I can go back to rooting against the dirtbag knicks. Go Bulls! :p

Despite living in Toronto, I'm not entirely sure if I'm rooting for them on Tuesday. I want to see Lin get another win, with at least 20 points, and 8 assists, as well as <= 3 turnovers.

Most of his TO came when he was tired. I think 5 of 6 TO came in 2nd half of this back to back game after the emotional win with 38 point against Lakers, and having to fly to Minneapolis. One other game he had 8 TO I think most came in 2nd half and he played 45+ minutes.

This is a new experience for him. Biggest diff between college ball and NBA is the grueling schedule and the travel, time zone. This shorten NBA season only made it worse. Plus D'Antoni is riding JLin as much as he could, JLin's hard driving, tough defending play style doesn't help either.

JLin never had to deal with things like this being an bench player, or in D league. He just has to learn what to do when he is tired, how to adjust, and get his conditioning better. He is not perfect, he still can improve. I for one don't want the media to hype him up and raise everyone's expectation like he has to score 25+ point every night....man that's like MJ number, definitely not realistic and actually not good for a PG. I hope he just continue to improve, get his team involved and make his team competitive.

He said himself a couple of games ago that one of the things he's really realizing is how hard it is to play a full game when you're used to playing maybe 5 minutes (or nothing).

BTW, his 109 points in the first four starts (27.25 avg) is #1 in the NBA since the merger, beating out Allen Iverson.

Was at the game last night and it was incredibly apparent Lin has to go right to be effective. Rubio played stellar defense on Lin all night. Most of Lin's points came when someone else was guarding him or Rubio had to switch off.

Lin's a good player but his 15 minutes will be over soon as teams find if you take away his right he comes back down to Earth.

Still pissed that the Wolves played so horribly and lost to Lin, Chandler, and a bunch of bench players.

disagree. he was abusing rubio/lidnour/barrea all game long getting into the paint at will, even though they took away the right drive. couldn't finish jack in the 2nd half though. rubio also caused a few turnovers when he caught up from behind and stole it.

edit: his points will obviously decrease as baron is due back soon, along with stat and melo.

you've been in denial since they had no business choking away the finals.
