Does it look he's pulling a John Wall (focused on head to head match up with rubio vs. playing team ball)?

I know Rubio has really long arms, plus great anticipation, so don't know why that is why Lin has so many turnovers, or not?

c'mon, Jeremy Lin can't pass and shoot the ball at the same time. I can't believe they keep missing their shots. :p

Rubio is an awesome on-ball defender and is giving lin fits. But like frazier said, look like he has no legs at this point.

wow knicks win again, a squeaker. lin had a poor shooting game and lots of turnovers, but a win is a win.

Lin got 20 and Fields got 19. But Fields was 8/10 whereas Lin was 8/24. How many turnovers was it? Shumpert got 20 on 9/16.

Rubio deserves the credit for shutting down Lin, but Lin missed several that he would have gotten last night.

6 turnovers, but 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals. Not to mention the game winning point at the line. Surprisingly, Rubio choked and had 2 critical to's at the end.

Lin didn't shoot well, but the defense was clearly leaning towards him and opened up the weak side for others.

Yeah not bad. Another 20 pt 8 assist night for him. Those turnovers are bad though. It seems he really tuckers out at the end.

BTW, somehow I thought they'd go to Novak. He's quite the dangerous 3 pointer.

lin forced too many passes to chandler when he was near the rim. he was still getting into the paint at will. good first half as well.

nice choke job by rubio on last 2 sequences.

Got to give it to Rubio. He played well and did a good job defending Lin, he looked gassed at the end.

Pretty revealing on the limits of his endurance. This was more or less equal contribution from everyone, I'd say his team stepped up to fill in the void. This game definitely wasn't all Lin.

I'd say the Knicks as they are now are pretty solid as long as Lin controls his TOs and the team(all of them) work on their free throws.

Novak was key tonight. Lin's still inexperience, you can tell he was tired. He should've pass more and create more opening instead of taking it in.

To who though? lol

He's surrounded by bums, except for Novak and Shumpert. Most him turnovers came from forcing the ball to Chandler. When Melo and Amare get back, it'll take the load of him

Read the post I responded to.

"I've never seen Steve Nash do this:"

"Lin is more athletic and a better defender than Nash."

Then read my response.

"The post I was responding to wasn't "comparing point guards" it was suggesting that Lin was on a level that Nash had not attained."

Stop reaching. Show me the last time a point guard didn't absolutely eviscerate the Lakers.

i read it, yet you still stated it was absurd to compare lin to nash. the comparisons have been made by all stars and hall of famers, which you still have not acknowledged.

also, lin does play better D than nash, along with being stronger. shut down most if not all of barrea's drives tonight.

you've proven to be a terrible analyst, and you're nothing more than a boxscore hero. congrats.

That's the thing really, I don't know if his TOs is a function of a lack of choices to dish passes to, or just him trying too hard. In either case, being an undrafted rookie and having just come off the bench to play and win 5 straight is an accomplishment in and of itself and expecting him to be perfect with absolutely no shortcomings is asking a lot. The starting lineup save for a couple of them are essentially a bench team at this moment. If and this is a big IF, Melo falls in line, the depth will be so deep, they could make a serious run for the playoffs.

Lin was playing great in the 1st half, but he looked absolutely spent in the 2nd half, he just didn't have the same explosiveness in the 2nd half driving to the basket.

1-13 in the second half, 4 turnovers, lol. Yet he had 2 huge assists to novak and had a big influence on the outcome of the game. No shame in his game tonight.

Shumpert, Novak and Fields all had good games. Hero-balling is not a valid excuse, esp. if you keep getting swatted near the rim.

Someone mentioned his useage rate is 4th in the league right now... They got to rotate him out more to keep him fresh. When he was driving to the hoop in the 2nd half, you could tell he didn't have his legs anymore. Stoudamire coming back should take some pressure off of him as well.

Would have had a couple more if jefferies could get the damn ball in the hoop.

I was wondering why he wasn't running the offense each time in the 4th, but was probably because he's fatigued. A lot of confidence by the coach for him to be shooting like that, yet still be in there at crunch time. That's his 5th game since saturday for the knicks when he played 36 minutes that night. Talk about jumping right into the fire...

Next up: @Raptors on Tuesday, 7pm est.
