12 pts. for Lin in the 3rd. 😀

John Wall just got a text message alerting him he has 4 other teammates on the floor.

yeah they are seriously night and day difference with Lin on the bench. unbelievable.

As soon as he sits, the knicks offense is like pulling teeth, lots of one on one. Back on the floor, lots of easy baskets.

9/14, 10 assists, 1 st, 1 blk, and only 2 to's...a brilliant game.

...now they are double-teaming him to take the ball out of his hands. 😀

And another telltale sign...Tyson Chandler, 25 points.

D'Antoni was chatting up Lin all happy happy.

To the doubters, Lin is not just a one time hit, or a two time wonder, but a triple threat.

Dude just pretty much led Knicks to 3 game winning streak... the heck they paying melo for?

I know he hasn't done much this season, but Melo is a great player and nobody can deny that. The Knicks have a great shot in the playoffs if they have a healthy starting lineup.

C: Chandler
PF: STAT
SF: Melo
PG: Lin
SG: Shump or Fields

Cuz Lin may have saved his job. 🙄

I think he also gave the coach some cred, seeing exactly what was lacking and how good it could be with a legit pg.

I'm still a little worried about Carmelo coming back...he's a give and go player...give the ball to him then go to hell. He holds the ball too long and bogs down the offense, and isn't exactly a spot up shooter. That's exactly the opposite of what Lin needs in order to be as confident and effective as he's been...we'll see soon enough tho.

That's what I'm worried about too. Notice how nicely the points were distributed tonight across the players... I'm afraid with Melo, it's just going to be lopsided and that's not the way to win. Gotta let Lin do his thing and dish the ball to the open man. Other than Novak, they need some range, and if Melo can learn to share, the Knicks will be great.

Just enjoy the good times while it lasts. Once Melo's back, Lin's not gonna get as many touches and his numbers will drop dramatically. At his age, Melo's not gonna learn to share. People got all pissed off at Kobe the other night when Lakers loss to Sixers 'cause he wouldn't share even though Bynum was having a 20/20 night.

Lin is the type of guard that fits perfectly in D'antoni's system. He's smart & went to Harvard, should have a bright future.

Watching the first 3 minute seem dude was carrying the team and also leading the team. But again I only watch 3 minutes and dude seem pretty good.

Not only that seem he was doing both mostly the defensive and offensive scoring. Again, I only watch the first three minutes and that is what I saw. He seem to be good enough for the NBA.

Yeap, Lin brings the fun back to NBA. Not bunch of me me showboating prima donnas, just hard nose, smart, team basketball.

Hope he continues to do well.

D'antoni's test is going to be how he manages the team when Carmelo comes back

it's obvious Lin has the Knicks playing as a team and making everyone around him better player when the offense is run through him.

I think opposing teams are just going to start double teaming Lin and force him to pass the ball and make his teammates show that they'll be able to make some plays though.

He's the guy I want setting up the offense in crunch. I am sick and tired of Melo's isolation plays that lead to crap. No doubt melo is the guy I want shooting the ball in crunch time, but I don't want him trying to create his own shot all the time.

Reading the articles the past few days, he's becoming Tebow-lite for the nba. There's a similar buzz throughout the media and league, not to mention he's also thanking God in interviews. Yet many seem afraid to anoint him as a solid nba player...even D'antoni said tonight "I think it's real...", lol.

The hesitation reminds me of when Ronald Murray replaced an injured Ray Allen in Seattle and averaged almost 25 points for a while. Until he finally came back to earth, never to elevate to that status again. 😀

We know what Jeremy Lin can do. The Knicks do, D'Antoni does, the fans do, anyone who knows basketball knows Jeremy Lin has talent. Right now he's playing hard to secure his position as a starting point guard (which he has already), so him putting up decent numbers 3 games in a row is no surprise. This kid led his high school team to his division championships, and did some amazing things when he played (and started) for the Harvard Crimson, and tore up the D-League. He's not a fluke, and history proves it. There's no denying that race played a factor in inhibiting his development in the NBA, where the only good Asian player is the fragile & nonathletic 7'7" Yao Ming.

Once Carmelo and Amare are back and the team is in full throttle, Lin won't have to play as hard as he does every night. I mean, he was playing through blood and sweat today, just like Dirk in the 2011 playoffs playing through a cold, something "super stars" like Her Highness Queen Lebrick no4thquarter James will never do. His numbers will go down because he'll not only have a single player (Tyson Chandler) to pass to (with confidence), he'll have one of the best small forwards and power forwards in the league as safety nets for when he gets boxed out. A point guard doesn't need to put up double doubles every night, hell, a point guard shouldn't be taking so many shots.

It doesn't work like that in New York. If Melo starts ball hogging and stagnating the offense, MSG will boo his ass and let him know he better let Lin run the offense.

Everyone can see the Knicks are playing much better ball since they have a PG that can setup the offense, run plays rather than Melo who just stays in isolation the whole night.
