Trump himself would. Probably not the kids.

I mean, there's a deposition from their divorce floating around where he raped her and assaulted her because his hair plugs didn't take.

Of note, 25 responses so far, and not a single one said he would tell the truth.

Eh, Occam's Razor holds up here: it's more likely that the timing is just unfortunate. Trump and his kids are horrible people, but even they wouldn't poison Ivana just to buy themselves a delay of a few days.

The implications if they did drug Ivana would be wild — they'd be willing to end someone's life to buy time for, say, fleeing the country.
As you say it makes zero sense for them to murder their mom to delay testifying for a few days.

Trump is a psychopath and I don't think he actually cared one way or the other if she lived or died but this is weird conspiracy theory nonsense.

Trump, Trump Jr., and Ivanka gotta testify under oath Friday.

But will they tell the truth, especially in Trump's case. I personally don't think he is actually capable of being honest.

Not postponed because his ex, Ivana, conviently died?

So today in national news, at least in the AP, are reports from the Jan 6 committee about deleted texts involving the Secret Service around the time of Jan 6 (2021 of course.) Ok this will be tricky and sticky. Any experts or knowledgeable people about this know if the story will go anywhere?

Meaning can Republicans simply say the texts involve national security in the form of executive privilege to prevent them from going public? If so then my post is inconsequential? Or could the texts if recovered and leaked be the major problem for conservatives in power?

No the republicans have no say as to if they are released or not.

I said the exact same thing to my wife today.
Are you missing the part where she probably has knowledge of a fuck ton of shit the Trump organization has done over the years? She was likely a key witness to some pretty incriminating stuff. It wasn't about a delay in testimony but a way to eliminate a witness.

Yes you’re more joking, but she was found unresponsive and scene didn’t look like suspicious. Have to wait for autopsy results. Another bob saget situation?

All that would mean is they used pro's. :(

I know it's tempting to think donnie had something to do with her death but I'm not going to go full conspiracy theory without more proof, the right does that all too often.

Hey, right wingers decided that conspiracy theories are all that matters, so if they've got a problem with it, too bad.

I posted a link with her cause of death, blunt force trauma. Furthermore, I didn't insinuate that Trump did it, nor did I insinuate he didn't.

I am sure this that if Trump readily had hitmen at his disposal people like Cohen would have sung about it by now. If. If there is foul play I find it more likely that its a “if you are listening” sort of thing.
