So you guys are going to keep bringing this up!!!!
Just a bit funny that someone who likes to brag online regularly about his material success posts an article regarding the most materialistic group.
So you guys are going to keep bringing this up!!!!
They just opened a Chanel outlet near Chicago. Haven't been there, but I'd assume they sell bags.
And, as I stated, I did an eBay search and his $6,500 bag was around $2,300 buy it now. Assuming that is in season and real (which is dubious at best, when dealing with eBay), in a year or two, it won't be worth nearly that.
That's 100% fake. If that Chanel bag is really $6,500 bag, there's no way that $2,300 bag is real. In a year or two, it will never drop down to $2,300. I guarantee it.
Can you explain to me why a handbag is worth $6,500 or even $2,300....
I heard a lot of people will settle for fakes if they are good fakes. Some of they are so well made that you can't tell the diff....

The same logic can be applied to many luxury items.

Another thing is if a fake is sooo good, how can you legitimately tell the real from the fake......
I.E. there are synthetic diamonds now that are soooooo much like the real thing that most pawn shops can't tell the difff...
A lot of times, it is in very small details and knowing where to look. Occasionally, there will be small flaws you'd have to know to be able to tell. I don't think I've seen a fake that is unrecognizable as a fake for Jordans yet, but I suppose it could happen in handbags.
I know in the handbag I bought for my wife (coach). The "double CCs" pattern didn't line up in the stitching, that was the dead giveaway.
edge of extinction is probably a strong phrase for the most populated country in the world
They spend all their money on high end rice cookers. That's why they have to eat rice.

Cultural differences and personal bias will affect on how people answer this question, which will not necessarily match their true attitude towards materialistic possession. I bet quite a lot materialistic people answered "No" just to feel better about themselves. Hence, this survey results are nearly worthless.
