Well being the momo that I am...I got drunk and hit on a girl for the first time in a very, very, very long time....you see...I don't hit on girls....I have just let them come and talk to me..or whatever...i'm far too lazy..

Well here is my idiotic conversation while drunk with a very cool chick from the 6th floor of my res building (i am on 3)..that i find very attractive because of her personality and in no way trailing, her looks (sorry no pics)..

keep this in mind...we have talked a bit...she even hugged me when she saw me @ the bar tonight (which is what probably cause my idiotic behaviour 😛)

also keep in mind I am much too happy these days to really let this phase me...just want some advice on how to turn this around for the better 😀..

Me - "So, tell me something, when I am sober, i'm gonna ask you out to dinner some time"
Her - "(laughs or giggles, or something)"
Me "so am i going to get a good, or a bad response"
Her - "A good response..."
Me - "(In my mind, WOOT!)"
Her - "....as a friend"
Me - "(in my mind, OYE!, OMG!!! OH NO! AIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! NOOOOOO!O!OO!O!!!!, but managed to pull out this response) Awesome, that's all I've been doing, making friends and that works for me"
Her- "(still smiling and holding on to me) that's good"
Me - "yes it is 🙂, well anyways, have a good night, see you later 🙂 "
Her "(smiles), you too 🙂 "
Me - "(in my mind, OUCH, i just got shut down and now realize why I never hit on girls :S 😛)"

so tell me...where do I go from here?....I don't want to be just friends with this girl...and for some odd reason I see potential ( I am not kidding when I say I don't hit on girls, I DON'T, i'm just too damn lazy) so this must be some rare occasion, other than the alcohol talking as i had noticed here before...so tell me the o so, and maybe not so wise of the ATOT..what shall I do...

 
heh, if it was me I would just not ask her out and pretend I forgot and was just drunk to save pride...but dont' follow my advice..cuase I'm retaded lke that🙂
 
well that's pretty much the same conclusion i came to.....even though I won't pretend to forget...I sure don't think I will ask her out anytime soon.....(god i should do thing sober as I always have)...

Besides, its in a woman natures to want that that she cannot have 🙂. Therefore, start hanging out with you other friends, and when she is around don't go out of your way to say hi. Evenyually she'll start wondering what the hell is going on and she will come to you....[come to butthead] 🙂

If not, you loose nothing, since there was nothing there to begin with....
 
haha, well i haven't slept all night so i'm not sure if i'm tired or still a bit drunk...but this is just funny now...I can't wait to see her today...this is gonna be hilarious..

That's right... there is alot to be said for playing the odds. I have a friend that hits on 20 to 30 girls a night when we are out.. granted he gets shot down by 27 of the 30, but he doesn't care, because come the end of the night he rounded up 3 dates & possibly a hook up for the night.

ask her out to the aforementioned dinner. at some point make it clear that you want her. and not as a friend. she will either say no way, OR you will know you should keep pursueing her.

 
I like that advice of not doing anything and let her wonder what the h is going on.

That would raise her interest level. If not, you loose nothing but gain more experience points toward your next level.
 
From a girl who has been hit on in bars by many a drunk guy...don't worry about it! I've never really paid to much mind to the drunk ones! Now if you were to come up to me sober after the fact and say hey, sorry about being a drunken slob at the bar the other night, but I did mean what I said...I'd love to take you to dinner just as friends! (Trust me when a girl says "just as friends" we are sometimes just protecting ourselves from anything else happening, we are'nt necessarily closed to the idea of something more happening!) What do you have to lose? Give it a shot!

I don't necessarily agree with all the advice here.

Go out with her, have a fun time, be friends with her. Best way to have a lot of fun with a girl is starting out as friends, and then discovering certain benefits.
