As a Sprint employee, I hear all of the complaints from everyone. Everyone that finds out that I work for the PCS immediately tells me about how their cellular phone works or how their company has screwed them, regardless of what company they get service through. Believe me all of you that are saying that "Sprint is notorious for fvcking up their billing" that every cellular company does it. Actually, I can happily say that Sprint is changing billing systems because of the problems we've had. However, this is an extremely slow and arduous process. It's been going on for over a year and we're just now getting the all of our business customers off of the old billing system.

This weekend, I was with some friends camping and floating. One is very anti-Sprint, one is very pro-Sprint, and everyone else had Verizon phones (grrrrr). Two of them had noticed their Verizon bills had random charges for $13.95 that Verizon immediately took off when they called customer service. The thing was, it wasn't supposed to be on there in the first place. It was a BS charge and they were hoping that their subscribers would just look past it.

I would never claim that Sprint doesn't do plenty of bad things, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that we've never done something like that and we sure as hell don't try to mess up people's bills. Trust me, it's not the best way to keep people.

Good to hear from someone on the inside. You are correct though, Sprint is DEFINATELY NOT the ONLY company to f-up bills. Hell, when i started on Voicestream/T-Mobile, my first 2 months bills were over $600 each, due to errors in their system.

Nothing like getting a call from dad about a $600 cell phone bill when it arrives...

This is why I cut short my contract with them and joined a class action lawsuit against them (which won us a settlement after Sprint tried every dirty trick in the book to have dismissed or moved). Sprint PCS SUCKS, and I tell everyone I know to stay the hell away from them.

Leave before. Tell them you're moving out of the country and they let you out your contract penalty free.
