First of, lemme say that i do like Sprint.... It works better than any other cell phone i've used down here in Florida (believe me, i've been through alot of them)....

But man, their CS sucks (just as everyone has said)....

I've now called 6 times to cancel PCS Voice Command ($5/month) from me and my dad's joint account, and it gets taken off that day... However, when i check the website 2 days later, its back on our plan again.

Everytime i call, the Customer Service reps get ruder and ruder about it. Saying that "Well it dosrnt AUTOMATICALLY do it, so you must be clicking on something, or calling in to order it."

Well ya know what sprint? I didnt order it, in fact I will NEVER order it. Its a Piece ofshit that dosent work properly and i have to repeat the number 20 times to get it to work.

Grrrr.... Nothing like the potential for being a kickass company, and fuckin it up due to crappy ass crappy customer service.

Send Sprint PCS's customer service department a snail mail letter requesting this in writing, send it via USPS certified.

You shouldn't have to do that but IF they do it again after receiving your letter, you have grounds to give them a ROYAL ASS CHEWING.

I just signed one of their plans and they have already screwed up the billing..grrrrrrrrr I have been on the phone with them twice so far and I am not sure it is resolved. I still have a week to return the phone and cancel the plan...if they don't get it together...I just might.

I just switched to their $100/2000 Anytime plan.... God its nice having so many minutes again :)

Maybe you should all start a peitition stating that their billing system and/or billing staff is not functioning properly. Send it to a few different departments at Sprint. Maybe you'll get something done about it. :)

I've had Sprint for 3 years now, never a problem with billing, never a problem with customer service.

Sorry about your problems. Fight the power.

As do I, i have the exact same plan.... I just checked the website now (Zip: 32607) and it shows the price I got, $100.... Not $110.... What zip code are you in? Maybe the pricing is different where you live...

I have the same 2000 Anytime/Vision plan. Sprint is notorious for fvcking up their billing. I did a location change one time(ATL to BHM) and they charged me an early cancellation fee and turned off both of my phones. They also regulary turn off my phone for non-payment, because they refuse to take my credit card. Then the CSR says the last CSR didn't have the correct information and I can take your CC.

They act like little bitches if you are mad too. I will not renew with Sprint. I am done with them in just a few months. I am going to get Verizon, Nextel, or Cingular.

That's why I like AT&T. Great customer service and good reception where I live. (Metropolitan DC area)

I guess I too have been lucky. I just recently did a 2 year contract after having finished two one-year contracts. Got a good plan with lots of minutes cheap and got a good deal on my phone. Seems like I always get CSRs that are actually helpful.

Same here. 5 years for me, and never had a problem. Except the crappy discounts you get trying to buy a new phone. I'm considering switching for that reason alone.

At&T rox.
I've gotten service on the Contintntal Divide, with no cell tower in sight for miles, when no one else could.
I'm upgrading to GSM for a "one number service solution" for European Travel.

As a Sprint employee, I hear all of the complaints from everyone. Everyone that finds out that I work for the PCS immediately tells me about how their cellular phone works or how their company has screwed them, regardless of what company they get service through. Believe me all of you that are saying that "Sprint is notorious for fvcking up their billing" that every cellular company does it. Actually, I can happily say that Sprint is changing billing systems because of the problems we've had. However, this is an extremely slow and arduous process. It's been going on for over a year and we're just now getting the all of our business customers off of the old billing system.

This weekend, I was with some friends camping and floating. One is very anti-Sprint, one is very pro-Sprint, and everyone else had Verizon phones (grrrrr). Two of them had noticed their Verizon bills had random charges for $13.95 that Verizon immediately took off when they called customer service. The thing was, it wasn't supposed to be on there in the first place. It was a BS charge and they were hoping that their subscribers would just look past it.

I would never claim that Sprint doesn't do plenty of bad things, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that we've never done something like that and we sure as hell don't try to mess up people's bills. Trust me, it's not the best way to keep people.

I'm just a sucker for Verizon's customer service. They're pleasant as can be and I virtually never wait on hold, not even for one minute. I changed plans once and I needed have someone explain my next bill to me, but it turned out that the bill was right all along. Verizon has never screwed up my bill.

To Sprint's credit, they never screwed up my bill either, but those CSRs + the virtually guaranteed excessive wait time to talk to them, are not very pleasing. Are they trained to take the defensive, or are they just used to it because every other person is on full boil by the time they finally pick up the phone?

Having used both Verizon and Sprint for over a year each, I can say that Verizon's network is noticably more reliable than Sprint's in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region. I can also say, with reasonable certainty, that even if Verizon was only roughly equal to Sprint in that regard, I would still prefer to deal with the people at Verizon.
