So I was walking to my car and some guy asks to borrow my phone to make a quick phone call... I thought I'd be a nice guy and say, "ok". I did ask him specifically though, "you're not making an international phone call, are you?" and he said, "no".


edited* nevermind, just saw that it was a 12 digit number starting with a star, grammation JP clarified it..heh, my bad.

what is the next digit... 70x ... that is the area code. International in the US is 011 or + ... He was being nice and disabling your caller ID like JP said.

He was just being respectful to you. Now your number wont be on someone elses caller ID and your privacy is safe.


So the moral is it's still ok to be courteous to strangers ;)

haha, yes...but not all strangers, everyone takes a risk ;)

I just hope you didn't hear any words like kill or blowup during this guys conversation. ;)
