I don't object to it not being joked about - if this was my forum, I'd not tolerate it either - but I just want to see some fairness. We joke all day about people getting murdered, Darwin's Law gloriously coming into effect, and that fellow member should "end themselves."

But the second you joke about rape - which is slightly easier to bounce back from than suicide - it's a ban without warning? It's cool with me if it's not allowed, but you have to realize that in a forum where there are no written rules, people who see all the jokes about death are naturally going to assume that a rape comment is not going to warrant an instant ban.

I definitly agree with you there man. People generally react strongly to personal things so I'm assuming down the line the mod had some kind of experiance with rape. If someone commented on my immigration status I would also flip/demand banning... Because I've suffured my entire life so I'm naturally sensative about it. Meh people are just people there is no unbiased justness.

It makes zero sense for people to constantly wish death on people, joke about 9/11, Katrina, or any other REAL event, but kiddingly saying "rape her" is somehow vastly superior in the area of social morals and speech. Right...

I'm just as guilty as wishing death on people, but I know well ahead of time that joking about violence toward women or talking about rape is bannable. Wish death or harm on men all you want, but that's the mean reason I refuse to say a single negative thing about female members here. Instant ban even if you weren't being serious or accidentally insulted them.
