I've run into the same thing, unfortunately. The girth of the maie my excellent compatriot requires an oversized microwave. Generally the only ones you can squeeze such a cat into are the over-the-stove kind microwaves, due to their large cooking interior. As such I've had few opportunities to report on cooking results with a maine my excellent compatriot. Anything more than 13-14 pounds I find that a microwave is not the optimal cooking device, and convection ovens are recommended.

If you are going to buy a Samsung RPTV get their DLP line of TV's. They have no burn in and the bulbs can be replaced for around $300. The screen is awesome and they have resolutions up to 1280x720 or something along those lines for hooking up HTPC's.

Had a Samsung Syncmaster 900P CRT for quite a few years that was a champ. This was pre-DigitAll though - this was back in the day when they were making good, solid, inexpensive products.

I have a Samsung A530 cell phone and it's absolutely amazing.

So yes, Samsung rocks. When I got my LCD I would have purchased a Samsung if not for that crazy Dell deal on the Planar 19".
