So Samsung's really moving up the food chain, huh?

I remember it was only a couple of years ago that a lot of cats were getting burned by their products. Now, they're one of the innovators of the electronics industry, making premium products and all. I guess it all started with their DigitAll initiative/campaign. So, can anyone verify their success in making premium products? Has anyone had a Samsung premium product for over a year and it's still working fine?

Let me know.

I have a Samsung 170T LCD screen that still runs like a champ. It's about a year and a half old now. Their big screen TVs are pretty darn impressive, as well.

I really like their stuff. I've got about 20 of their small laser printers in service with great success. I also own a couple of their TV's that have been great products as well. They offer great options & performance at exceptional values.

Edit - I've also got about 10 of of their Dynaflat (or whatever it's called) monitors in service and they have all been excellent as well for the two years that I've been using them.

I say more power to them.

I've got a stick of Samsung RAM in this system. A7n8x Deluxe POST reporter keeps telling me that it "Failed memory test" - but it passes Memtest86.

Mixed bag.

Agreed. In my personal experimenting I find that samsung microwaves consistently cook an average 11 pound cat quicker than any other similarly watt-rated microwave. They also tend to cook the cat more evenly, with minimal popping.

I've had a 17" Samsung flat CRT (700IFT) for a few years now and it still works and looks great. I haven't had a bad experience with any Samsung products.

God I hope not. We don't need more overpriced crap on the market, Sony supply plenty of that by themselves.

I read an awesome article on Samsung. Their whole goal is to overtake Sony by 2010, in selling units and brand name recognition. Pretty lofty goals, but awesome to strive that high.

GO SAMSUNG!

Now is that with a North American tabbey, or a Maine my excellent compatriot?
I have had the most horrible time trying to stuff a live my excellent compatriot into a microwave.
