just found out my sisters fiance's mom has a malignant brain tumor...she also just finished her chemo for breast cancer and throat cancer. the doc was amazed that she's still alive.

i feel so sorry for my sister. she's getting formally enganged on oct 12th and now i dont know what they're gonna do. we're catholic and his family is buddhist if his mom passes away before the wedding then they can't get married for 3 years! initially everything was okay because the docs diagnosed that she just has breast and throat cancer and she survived the chemo and now this...

cancer just sucks. my mom is also a survivor on breast cancer. all the woman on here...plz go check a check up.

First of all, so I don't sound insensitive, it really is sad. :(

That said, tell her to get married soon.

nah man...i feel yah. that's what theyr'e trying to discuss. but to get married in a catholic church they must take these marriage counsul classes which is like a few months long. i'd say they should say fvck the buddhist/catholic tradition and get married at home...they should get married by the state first, later on worry about the religion part. i'm sure everybody would understand.

well gotta go to work peeps. thanks.

Likewise...that is terrible.
If I were your sister, I would talk to her fiance about it....perhaps even address the issue with his mother as in getting married while his mother is still alive so she can take part and have something to live for....:(
