So public intimidation is now allowed in the UK

And the media gleefully partakes in it by drawing false equivalences to cover up the actions by the perpetrators?

Case in point: the Leicester riots.

Great work, UK media.

At some point, are you going to tell us what it is that you are going on about? A soccer match? A coup?

I'm talking about the intimidation of the Hindu community in Leicester and I'm talking about how the media and the role it is playing in reporting the Leicester riots.

Take this guardian article for instance.
The Guardian

The report relies upon the testimony of Majid Freeman, a terror sympathizer who is now "playing" the role of a community activist. He has defended ISIS, but apparently none of it matters to The Guardian as he is "community activist" working in the "best interests" of Leicester.

The Telegraph about Mr. Majid Freeman

And we are supposed to believe that he will give an impartial, truthful account of the violence. Who are they kidding? We know what is going on in Leicester, it is pure and plain old fashioned intimidation.

Who is this "we" you speak of lol? :p

Hate to break it to you but without resorting to Google most of the rest of the world doesn't even know where "Leicester" is, nevermind what's going on there.

Fun fact: the last person who could pronounce Leicester correctly died in 1895. No one has yet been born who can pronounce Leicestershire.

Weirdly enough it kicked off over a cricket match.

Basically Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs have been living peacefully together in Leicester for decades.
Modi starts exporting Hindutva and surprisingly enough trouble follows it.
Hindutva is as useful to Hinduism as Wahabism is to Islam.

I know I do like crunchy Red Leicester cheese. We spent several weeks in the UK and I discovered it on this trip.

Blaming Modi for the trouble in Leicester? Sure, keep believing that.

A Hindu temple being targeted in Leicester.

But sure, keep blaming Modi and Hindutva for the violence. Sure, spread the canard that the "export of Hindutva" caused this mess. Sure, draw all the false equivalences you want to explain away this incident. In the end, you are all only lying to yourselves.

The media failed the people who were targeted, even the Police failed the people who were being targeted. If this trend continues,. the targeted people will come to realize that the only help they can expect in such circumstances is from their own people and their own community.

You know how we try to take the best from capitalism and socialism and mix em together and get a solid welfare state with a banging private economy?
Relevance you ask? Glad you did. How about we take a play from our Chinese brothers and sisters and straight out ban religion. Tear all those houses of worship down.

You can practice religion in China, as long as you practice the version with unique chinese socialist characteristics.

So um, you posted a "Times of India" article as "The Guardian", and three lines of a TDT article.

Where are the thugs in that video clip? I can see one guy tearing down a flag.

My apologies, updated the link in the post to the Guardian article featuring the very special Mr. Majid Freeman.

I will. And so will anyone else that takes a close look. I'm not just blaming them, but there's certainly blame that should be apportioned to them.

Sure, sure. Keep telling yourself and your echo chambers that. Lets see how it flies with the reality as more details of this incident and those that will happen in the future come up.

Despite the initial mistake committed by the Leicester Police Force, I have full confidence in their investigations that will inevitably follow in this incident. The investigation will clearly separate the wheat and chaff pertaining to the facts. I just don't trust the UK media to report them fairly, but the details should be fully revealed in the Indian papers.

No Hindu Extremism was involved in the Leicester violence.

So WelshBloke ,

You based your previous posts by blaming Modi? So where is Modi's hand in the violence now? As I told you before, your claim of blaming Modi, the BJP and the RSS for contributing to the violence stands as hollow as a drum. But of course, you won't admit you were wrong. I expect nothing better from you here.

In North America maybe.
Not so much in UK and a good chunk of Europe as well - Leicester City won Premier league couple years ago, they've been in UEFA champions league etc. Stuff like that helps over there.
