peerguardian does the same thing protowall does right?

just wondering which is better

sorry if a little off topic

I've been a little wary myself, so I've pretty much just stuck with the iptables rules, ipt_multrange module, and block list that I already downloaded.

"The majority of the Methlabs.org administration and development team have been forced out of their web site following a series of threats and incidents. The member of the group that had been trusted to handle the finances and servers slowly managed to take over each individual part of the web site?s assets, eventually claiming control over the entire group and locking out the majority of staff."

I think it has something to do with that. PeerGuardian was moved over to sourceforge, which redirects to Phoenix Labs.

Download Blocklist Manager, go to tools -> options -> sources, select the lists you want and close that window. Then go to the main window and click download. After it gets the lists, go to covert and hit convert. Once done with that, save the file to your desired file type. Then go to Peerguardian and select List Manager and click add list. And then you just select the list you just saved.
