There's maybe a reason behind the dissolution..
When businesses go under, you don't walk away with cash.
By "dissolved", I took it to mean sold/liquidated.

Precisely. It might not have been in receivership yet.

pay off any debts you have, then put it into an ING account or something... something that can collect interest. stock market sounds too risky to me
