I doubt the petition is being signed by politicians. I think it is being signed by ordinary citizens.

Seriously, why would anyone oppose the idea of creating a tradition where a sitting President sits down with the opposition party on a regular basis and has a televised discussion with them?

I know. Hence the :awe:, pointing out the inanity of Craig's oneliners.

Gotcha.

BTW, the number of signers has gone from 4500 to 6K since I posted this a few hours ago. Keep them coming! There is resistence in both the Obama administration and amongst the republicans to this idea. Let's not let them off the hook.

LOL, 6090 fools gave away their names and email addresses for this. I hope they enjoy all the urgent requests for help they are about to get.

You can hide your name and e-mail address from view on the website. I suppose you could receive some kind of junk e-mail from it, or not. If you think it's foolish to petition your government for more transparency because you're worried you might get junk e-mail, that's your call.

Republicans couldn't govern anyways, even when they had all the power, I don't know why Obama wastes his time on them.
