So now that there's a new season of Anime

Not really too familiar on the new lineup, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Currently downloading Gundam Seed Destiny 01 and Bleach 01.

school rumble and genshiken are definitely must see as they are supposed to be biggest manga hits for this year. gun buster (top o nerae) 2 is a gainax's 20th annivesary OVA, nuff said

oh yeah, read genshiken manga if you can find it :thumbsup: still looking for school rumble manga

everything all the way down to (9) in my sig was quite enjoyable... (10)-(13) is stuff i have some beef with either drawing, story development and etc but still managed to be worthwhile.

Bleach is gonna be great, episode 1 was good, ep 2 is out now, the manga is very good as well

I downloadeed Gundam seed destiny, havent watched it yet shoudl be good as well

Gunbuster 2 is good, as well as thoes that are still running, Samurai 7, Champloo, Naruto, Elfen Lied and there is speculation that there will be a Elfen Lied 2

I just watched EP 12 and can't wait for 13. Ohhhhh boy.

Mai-hime and kannazuki no miko are definitely mecha/action (which is the downfall of the latter...)
tactics and tsukuyomi will prolly have a fair share of action judging by the first episodes
school rumble is more of a comedy than anything...
genshiken isnt exactly a bishoujo anime either, not that i dont like kanakochan she hasnt even made her debut in anime yet...
the only bishoujo anime on my list would be kakyusei 2 and uta-kata

sigh i just reorganized some stuff and i have a whole 250 CD binder full of just anime, most of it is DVDs as well, and its not even all burned yet

if you find something you REALLY like, collect it in RC2 be warned tho, it can be a costly hobby... Eva Renewal DVD set were being sold for about 50000yen IIRC

kannazuki no miko has Yami Boushi written all over it......hopefully it'll be better. Mai hime is interesting, so far. As for Shoujo Anime, I tend to lump them together more than others. To Heart is unmistakably shoujo, School Rumble are more like comedy with bunch of girls ala Love Hina. No idea about Tactics..

This gonna be a long season with only GS Destiny and Soukyo No Faffner.......maybe its time to catch up to 70+ episode of GA

GA english fansubs = bleh. totally ruins some really brilliant comic scenes -_-;; i finished the 4th season while back and it was greeeeeat
NO WAY you would equate school rumble with love hina... i liked love hina when i saw it, but school rumble is mad funny + tons of moe; a closer match would be shinobuden

on a serious note, to heart is based on a visual novel but the first series was a school show, the only two girls in the series that 'had a thing for' hiroyuki are akari and shiho anyway - definitely far from a harem.
i too tend to lump all mecha anime into one ambiguous group. faffner is considered to be the worst show of the year by many (although some say it improved towards the end), gundam seed gets no respect from traditional gundam fans so there you have it feel free to flame me back >.<

i keep updating my sig after viewing each episode.... looks like genshiken, tactics, rozen maiden and kakyusei2 are yet to be subbed in english. what a shame

great news : rozen maiden eps1 is subbed in english. genshiken is also subbed up to eps2
while i still dont get the mecha part about kannazuki no miko, drama part is good and drawing and music more than make up for the randomness of fighting scenes.
