The belt dosent turn anymore, it sort of moves then stops, the display is fine though it powers on okay. There are no treadmill repair areas nearby and running outside isnt gonna fly because of traffic.

I think ill need to take it apart and look for something burnt out or some sign of damage to the circuit board maybe. Any ideas? Anyone fixed one of these things before or know a website that can help guide me through it? If i can fix a busted computer pretty easily how difficult can this be :|

Its a proform 3.6 (pretty basic treadmill), its been kept in the garage, its been used in cold weather although i did warm it up first i gather this isnt a good idea for longevity and condensation may well have buggered it.

Yea...run outside. There's always a way to run outside. Short of disassembling it and testing the components...there isn't anything anyone here can tell you on how to fix it.

I'd start taking it apart to open up the where the motor is mounted, and test the motor without any weight on it by removing the belt (the small belt that goes from the motor to the shaft for the large belt.) It shouldn't be complicated to remove the cover, but will take some time figuring out where all the screws are. From there I'd troubleshoot all moving parts.
