Garden hose. ;)

Or do you have any extra Network cable around?

The RG-58 we used for token ring would be pretty good.

How to Unclog a Toilet
  1. Plunge... First, you obviously want to use your plunger to try and loosen any clogs. Start by making a seal over the hole-in-the-bowl with the plunger. Push down slowly and pull back quickly. Start by doing this at a slow pace and then working up speed.
  2. Use a toilet snake/auger... I dislike this step because it can scrape the porcelein, but it's necessary if the plunger doesn't do the job. Make sure you get a toilet snake/auger, as a sink snake/auger will scrape the porcelein on your toilet. Trust me. Work the snake as far back into the hole as possible, trying to dislodge any tissue or solid matter (mmmm... tasty).
  3. Pour a bucket of water... If the snake still doesn't let you flush the toilet successfully, this is what finally did it for me. This step can also be used before the plunger in the case of a very small clog, but works well as a last step with a stubborn clog. Get a normal sized bucket and fill it between 1/8 and 1/4 of the way full with warm water. When the water in the toilet is at its lowest point (usually with clogged toilets, very little water is left in the bottom), pour the water directly into the hole-in-the-bowl from about waist-high. The pressure of the water being poured into the bowl does a surprisingly good job at disloding the remaining clog. You may need to repeat this step once or twice.

Damn, once back in college a friend of mine dropped a bomb in a toilet and it got clogged.

I spent the next 30 minutes using a plunger, with toilet water with crap splashing all over my body :|

Yeah.

You can't throw babywipes into the toilet. We've used babywipes all my life, and we found out the hard way they have a habbit of clogging toilets.

We just throw them into the waste basket. Of course, if you ONLY use wipes, and no toilet paper... that could be pretty nasty. We use toilet paper first, and then wipes.. so there is barely anything on the wipe, it doesen't stink or anything.
TMI TMI TMI!!!! :Q :disgust:

You're a pretty good friend. If one of my friends clogged my toilet, he's the one that's going to take care of it.

agreed.... If you're really daring, also get a pair of long latex gloves.... reach in a grab whatever you can...

And, before calling the plumber, disconnect water line, 2 bolts holding toilet down, and access the drain that way...

Baby wipes aren't flushable. You have to use the flushable wipes made specifically for that.

Hmmm this baby wipe phenomenon is new to me. I didn't know people used them.
Mostly women starting using them... keeps their in-between much cleaner and "fresher". :D

I always flush mine. I just don't put more than 2 down at a time per flush.
