The G35 Coupe does not come with an Internet connection. Does not come with 20 inch wheels. There is no racing seat. The only way to get an Internet connection is to use your mobile phone. 20 Inch wheels the dealer probably added on but that is very unlikley. Racing Seats??

dude its all on there. did you not see my post? good lord, some people. ever heard of OPTIONS?!?! there is DEFINITELY 7 spoke 20 inch rims, for the last time. i dont know ANYTHING about it because i have never been inside one or even read about them. and how do you know there isnt this or isnt that? who the hell are you? i dont even care about the damn car. why do people feel like they need to be an expert? unless you work for infiniti, i think you should shut your mouth. this wasnt a "lets debate what options the car comes with" thread, this is a"the car has this in it" thread.

edit: oh yeah, and i dont know how she gets the internet, but i know she can hook up her phone to her LCD, and maybe thats what she meant. not to be rude but...you are an idiot.

There is no 20" rims option on the coupe. The best you can get is 18s/Michelin Pilots with the wheel & tire package. And there is no internet connection with the Navigation screen, I can guarantee it. Trust me, I bought one of these with every possible option available. The only way she would be getting 20s is if the dealer put them on aftermarket - maybe she just confused them with the 18s, as the 18s are 7-spoke wheels.

I asked this before, but are you guys getting yours from Grubbs Infiniti in Dallas? They do some aftermarket stuff like aluminum pedals and whatnot...I suppose it's possible she could be having them put 20s on it...but they are not a standard option for the car by any means.

Anyways, if you guys have any questions on the coupe, I've clocked over 3500 miles on mine now - I'd be happy to answer any. Enjoy it - I look forward to driving mine each and every day.

I don' t know what I am talking about? I have a G35 Sedan which is the same as the coupe just 4 doors. There are no sport seats, there is no Internet and there are no 20" wheels as options. Sure you can add 20s on there, that's not impossible. Why take out the seats and add sport seats is beyond me.

www.nissannews.com .... click on infiniti. You will see pics and stats.

alright well i dont know what to tell you, exactly like i said before, i just typed what she said over the phone. ill let you know whats really in it when i move down there. one thing im sure about is the wheels. she might be confused about the seats and internet (might be confusing that with GPS), but even my bro said it has 20's, and he isnt a moron, so that much i know for sure.

i don't think the G35 really *NEEDS* a spoiler...the only car that comes to mind that *NEEDED* a spoiler was the last-gen accord coupe (it just didn't look right without one).

I personally think a sports car that has a rounded-type of rear like that looks lost without a spoiler. Like something close to a next-to-last generation Altima with that ugly rounded rear - those definitely needed one. Eclipse's too. You're right about the Accord.

Not completely true. There are cars without clutches that are manuals (cant remember the cars that have them, but they do exist).

Heh.. There is no 20" wheel option on the G35C. The FX35/45 has the 20" wheels. She's probably getting the 18" wheels in the sport package. Along with the wheel upgrade from the 17" with all season tires, you get the faux titanium finished console and the LSD. No Brembo's on the 5AT. Just the 6MT gets the Brembo's.

What she meant by stick and auto is that it's the 5AT auto with the sport shift "manumatic". She apparently got the aero package with the rear spoiler (I didn't get it) and the diffusers under the car (wanted that though). Apparently, you can buy the under car air diffusers from Infiniti and install them yourself. She got the navigation system with birds eye view which is dvd based and costs $2k. She can't get the internet on it unless she mods it. Some guy over at the Fresh Alloy forum installed a computer in his G and piped into the Nav LCD. Pretty slick install.

It's a great car. It reminds me a lot of the BMW 330 or M3 and costs thousands less. I'm kind of pissed at BMW now anyway. They can't build a decent engine for Juan Pablo Montoya. His damn engine blew again today. :( Otherwise, he would've probably won the race. Anyway.. I love the styling too. There are a few nits to pick about the car, but overall it's a fantastic package. They are NOT selling the coupe for anything under MSRP and there is at least a 3 month wait to get one. Especially if you want the "hot" color Diamond Graphite (medium gray) and the 6MT with the 18" wheels, LSD and Brembo's.

It is based off of the Nissan FM platform. I think it looks much better than the 350Z. I thought that the 350Z initially looked a little better in photos, but when you see both cars in person, you'd be crazy not to pick the G35C. It does have the same wheelbase as the G35 Sedan, so it does ride better than the 350Z also. I've heard that the 350Z's suspension will really beat you up, especially if you opt for the track model.

BTW.. The Infiniti G35 is the new Nissan Skyline in Japan. A lot of the guys are even going as far as removing the Infiniti badging and importing the Skyline badging for their cars. That's going a little too far IMO. Nissan hasn't released the new GT-R version of the Skyline yet and word is that it might not be called a Skyline this time around. Remains to be seen. It is also rumoured that Infiniti will get the new GT-R which would be incredible. For those of you that don't know, the Skyline GT-R is one of Japan's premier supercar's. In Japan, it's kind of like what the Corvette is to american cars.

Anyway.. Blah.. Blah.. Blah..

Bottom line is that your sister made a great choice. Congrats to her! :D

Not completely true. There are cars without clutches that are manuals (cant remember the cars that have them, but they do exist).

Those cars DO have a clutch, its just controlled by a computer. BMW's version of it is called SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox). The SMG transmission is similar to what F1 racecars have, they don't use a clutch to shift, instead they press buttons on the steering wheel, and a computer performs the actual shift for them at speeds that most humans could not reproduce. Its an interesting concept and should make it into a few more performance oriented cars I would think. The 2003 Toyota MR2 has it as an option too. Many people would not consider this a true stick/manual though.

BTW- The G35C doesn't come with SMG or anything similar. It uses a normal automatic transmission with a Steptronic/Tiptronic/SportShift ability or whatever you want to call it.

j/k man... the G35 is a nice car. One thing I don't like about it are the HUGE blind spots. OMG the c-pillar is just gigantic. Same with the 350Z (duh)
