No. See, he's not hiding because he's a selfish coward....he's hiding so those people who are graced to know him don't have to ever know what it's like to live life without him.

I say he's a hero.

Okay, from what I remember of your other posts about your sister she's a 21 year old deadbeat drug addict. Won't go to school, won't get a job, just living off of your mother who wouldn't try the tough love approach and kick her out to force her to see what a really lousy future she's facing if she doesn't straighten herself out. Now her chosen lifestyle is endangering your mother's life.

I can understand the people in this thread calling you a coward for putting your own safety above that of your family's, but I can also understand you being pissed at your adult sister and feeling that she chose to bring this on herself and she has no right to drag you into it and put you in danger because of the lifestyle she chose and you would never get involved in yourself.

The only problem is that she has dragged your mother into this. You have an obligation to your mother. Don't give me that crap about how she wouldn't want you to get involved for your own safety. Of course she wouldn't want you hurt, but she needs help and it doesn't sound like she has anyone else she can turn to. No one with any sense really expects you to be Rambo, but you are a 23 year old man and you need to act like one and try to help your mother do something about this situation.

Find out if there is a rehab facility that the two of you could get your sister into right away. A place that would take her whether she wants to commit herself or not. Get her out of your mother's house and get your mother to go visit relatives somewhere away from there, or to just get away for awhile until things cool down or sort themselves out through the police.

Tell your mother that now is the time to take some serious action with your sister before she ends up dead. She may think that she has been doing the right thing as a mother just loving your sister, giving her a roof over her head and taking care of her, but this incident shows that that is not working and if she really loves her and wants to protect her and give her a chance at a decent life this is what has to be done.

I don't know if you can talk to your sister, a lot of times in these situations they won't listen to anyone because they don't want to face reality, but you have to at least try. Try to convince her that this is for her own safety and probably her last chance at the kind of future she dreamed of once.

If she won't listen, just do whatever you can to get her out of your mother's house for your mother's safety and future and to get your sister out of an environment that is just enabling her to continue this lifestyle. I know you may even be angry with your mother for allowing your sister to live at home and do the things she's been doing, but you can't justify your doing nothing to help because of that. She's just been trying to be a good mother by sacrificing her own needs and comforts to care for her child. That's the sort of thing they were taught you were supposed to do by their own parents who didn't have to deal with this sort of thing.

Maybe none of this will work, but unless you at least try to help your mother at this time, I'd have to agree with some of these other posters about your character.

Good luck with whatever you try to do.

Damn, I don't envy you Stefan. The only person I knew who had to stand up for his sister, is dead. He was shot in the head by her boyfriend, after my friend beat the crap out of him for hitting her. The dirt bag only served 10 years, and my friend's pos sister had his kid. My friend died one month before he was to graduate with a computer science degree.

Don't be a hero. Tell her to leave town, or go visit a relative, or something. Your getting involved won't help the situation, and it could get you killed.

And the other 2 girls involved?? Please... A bag full of guns + stolen cars + possible shvt talking = nothing to worry about.... If the guy actually calimed he killed someone chances are he didn't. It isn't something you would go brag about.

..Those who know don't talk and those who talk don't know a thing..

So apparently it would make sense to you that I throw away my life, completely shatter the lives of both my parents by losing both children and destory the life of my gf that I am going to marry all so I can say "hey, at least I "tried" to protect you"...

That's stupidity.

Are you willing to die to protect your sister?
Your mom?
Your dad?
Your future wife?

I would be willing to die to protect my wife, my mom or my brother.

I would be willing to die to protect myself, my gf / future wife and my children.

I will offer my family any help I can, but I won't die for them, and they would never want me to.
How exactly are you protecting yourself if you're dead dummy?

Is it too late to call shens?

Honestly... It sounds like you have enough problems. Regardless if you choose to be a spineless sissy man or a hero, the last thing you should be doing is posting messages. Do you expect the geek squad to show up at your house and start a war with a biker gang or something?

There's no new information as of yet. The RCMP have not contacted us.

I will not buy a gun. I don't think owning a gun or killing someone with a gun solves anything. If some guy comes into the house and I take him out, there's just gonna be another, and another, and another until they get me. That's how gangs work. They don't disappear or get scared off because you fight back.

Just because I don't want to get involved in an issue with a biker gang doesn't make me a pussy. I come home every day, just like I always have. If someone comes into the house, it's best to try to get out alive without fighting or murdering the guy. Getting out undetected would be best.

There's a big difference between trying to help someone out (which I am trying to do) and causing more trouble (by getting guns and trying to fight a gang). What you idiots are suggesting is that I should try to make myself a martyr by going out in a hail of bullets.

I'm not going to abandon anyone, so you dipsh!ts can just shut your condacending tough-guy mouths.

Stop being such a drama queen. I seriously doubt that anybody is out to off your whole family. In fact if this so called outlaw Biker is wanted for murder he's probably already in hiding. The last thing these Bikers want is more negative attention directed towards them (especially in Canuckastan) and odds are they have laready got their "Bro" in hiding or are planning to off him themselves.

People can and do have guns ... but many that do - don't register them. Especially people in rural areas. Like my father-in-law.

Following that, regular people usually don't have guns because they are heavily restricted ... leaving *taadaa!* the criminals to have the guns.

Besides, what did this "high ranking" HA look like? I might know him. :D

In any case, it's never a good idea to hang out or associate with those who "regulate" (to use an old East Van term) unless you're into that kind of thing. The police are turning the tide against this particular group of organized crime in Vancouver, much like Quebec did a bunch of years ago. We'll see how far it goes. The HA may be currently down but they are certainly not out.

My sister has finally seemed to calm down a bit. It's pretty stressful walking home after class to see your front door covered up with a sheet and seeing your sister huddled and shaking in a corner, pale-white with a knife in hand freaking out and saying that someone is coming to kill her.

My sister is addicted to crystal meth, and I believe she was high at the time, so I'm sure this added to the situation.

We got a call from the RCMP last night. Apparently some person reported their car stolen and they saw my sister taking off.

As for this drug dealer, my sister gave a pretty detailed depiction of what he does. He's got guys all over the city pushing the drugs. He has bought houses all over the city and these kids he gets to move the drugs work 7 days a week and are allowed to sleep for 15 hours on 1 day.

This man is already wanted on a murder charge. My sister freaked out when she saw him get in her car with about 15 guns, throw away a shotgun and say I just killed [name]. The guy was apparently frantic and was trying to get away but my sister was so freaked out she just kinda froze. After the guy got out of the car, my sister drove away as fast as she could, but they chased her in another car, but pulled away before they got to the city.

That's all the information I have.

It's not HA according to my sister.

Oh good, I can breathe easier now. Just kidding.

Good luck to your sis. Hope she gets off the meth. That's some bad stuff.

I love my sister, and would help her with most things, but I am not getting involved with a biker gang.

I have spoken to her and given her my advise, but I will not be involved in a war that I told her would come to her if she continued the lifestyle she was living.

Well, what are you gonna do? Hide at school for a year or two? Man up, go home, protect your family.

Protect them with my fists?

A lot of good that's gonna do when a gang is intent on getting to someone to keep them quiet.

The second I get involved I sign my own life away.

grow a nut son, your family is all you have. if you can't put your life on the line for them you have no authority to call yourself a brother. I have two sisters i know how it is to try your hardest to steer them away from trouble, but sometimes you can't. so you put em up and fight your way thru.

you are disappointing.
