yep, fell of my lap onto the ground out the truck.
i think our insurance is thru asurio
had a silicon case, didnt seem to help this time
so my question, since im yazy tonight,
is what will i get :a refurb droid?..ugh
or will i get a newer phone?
or should i just buy outright?
tbh im kinda sick of the og droid, want something quicker,bigger screened
is still under the yr manu warranty, not sure it this overs it, it didnt drop hard..oh wells.
 
i thought i did, but i do not need or want a physical kb
but i could do with something like a casio gzone version of a droid.
ionno if they make em like that yet, like a toughbook of smartphones deal

I highly recommend the G,Zone. Only rugged Android phone out there right now. If I didnt have my heart set on Virgin Mobile I would get that instead.

i can get an x for around $180 and still keep my cracked handset.

I think its funny that their is a android gzone just like you want...and now your hesitant to get it
 
Yeah insurance is a joke on phones. I've used it before but by the time you pay 4-5$ a month for a year then some asinine deductible when you actually need it, you could just pick up another phone somewhere.

Pretty much.
And just like car & medical insurance they will always try to find some reason to weasel out of it unless you are tough with them.

I understand the high deductible though. It keeps people from being careless and having brand new phones every month.

If it's through assurion forget it! They're fucking crooks. My former employer went to court with them because of the way they fucked us over. One of my co-workers brand new Droid X fell in a puddle and they gave her the same phone back with a new battery, Still broken. My boss's son had an iphone 3gs with a cracked screen. They gave him a 3g back. And in the terms of their contract it's all legal. My boss used to insure all our phones with them. After those and several other incidents he cancelled all assurion plans.

Assurion does not give a fuck about you. They will replace your phone with a refurb and if it stops working then you're shit outta luck! You have a maximum of two claims per year, and that includes the refurb. The terms of the contract are monopolistic and one sided. You have a deductible no matter what. There are no other plans to choose from. Verizon and AT&T really dont care because they get paid either way.
