We (three of us) were planning on getting either air conditioning or cable tv. Two of us wanted air conditioning and the third roommate wanted cable tv. He decided to go order a $50 a month platinum plan with comcast without telling us. Two of us have TVs, one of them being a 20" and the other a 13". He has the 20".

Even though he didn't notify us, he insists on us splitting the total cost.

I told him to go to the bathroom. Why? Because he's full of sh!t.

I'm not going to pay him a dime.

He has the worst communication in the world.

End of rant.
 
as long as hes the one paying no prob. if he doesn't, well, call and have it cancelled.
 
Damn, there must be something in your water. You guys are poor enough to not be able to afford cable TV and AC, so he buys the "platinum" package. Wouldn't cheap cable and AC be a better option? And San Jose is not exactly cool in the summertime.
 
What my roommate did was we had a 'talk' with the cable guy and we have an 'understanding' going on . . . 😉

Yes, my roommate is an idiot.

During the summer it got past 100 degrees for almost a week. And we're not exactly poor, its just the principle of saving some cash. We have three people in a two bedroom apartment (I live in the livingroom). That already saves everyone a good hundred bucks.

I told him if we wanted to get cable to get the cheapest package available, but noooo....he wants to watch cartoons and the Disney channel. He keeps telling me,

"Kenny, lets get cable."

"Why?"

"I want something to watch at night like cartoons or the Disney channel."

I'm not kidding either, out of all the things to watch, he wants to watch cartoons and the Disney channel. His English isn't all that great either.

We were playing WarCraft III at a LAN, and he starts yelling at me...

"BRING YOUR MENS TO MY BASE!"

Goodness, I wonder how he even passed remedial English.
 
lol...one of my friends in college watched cartoons all the time...it was pretty annoying. He was always using my computer for cybersex, too.
