so my Olds intrigue just passed 100k miles. :)

5.5 yrs old and 100k miles, still running pretty good. replaced one battery, 2 sets of tires, 1 set of brake discs, several times had pads replaced, numerous oil changes, the only thing that wasn't working was the right rear window wouldn't go down, but turns out that was because i hadn't opened it in like 3 yrs and it had gotten stuck, a little coaxing and it's working now.

not bad overall, was a good buy, the only problem with the car was bad gas mileage, averaged 20 mpg pretty much the whole 100k miles.

My wife had a 2001 and she bought a 2003 Accord EX and got rid of the Olds. We both wish we had kept the Olds. More room/comfort and more fun to drive.

my 95 talon has 147k miles on it. not a single problem since I've owned it. bought it at 127,000 last may drove it 20,000 over the summer took it off the road for winter, can't wait to put her back on the road

well, the accord does have more back seat space and more trunk room than the Olds, but from the drivers perspective? ya, the olds rox.

he doesn't tow anything it's just his daily driver... i'd be around 300,000 if I bought a new car in 98... to be honest I just find it odd how alot of people only put like 20,000 on a car a year. like I said I put 20,000 on my talon in just the summer. I drive ~40,000 a year but that's because I hate my winter beater i'd drive more if I had a nicer car in the winter.

pretty damn sure mine wasn't stuck...it was an intermittent electrical problem

i'm pretty sure it was just stuck because you could hear the packing separating from the window, happens if you leave it shut for too long without opening it at all.

49K miles: No major repairs (fingers crossed), had to get brake rotors turned 2x already though, and really is due for another brake job. What is the deal with the rotors getting warped? My windows also have gotten stuck before, but it's been a while. The chrome window trim needs to be hammered into place every few months . . . Love the car!

edit: I don't put many miles on the 'trig because I drive rental cars frequently for my type of work.

My 99 Expedition should roll over to 126,000 tomorrow. Been a good truck, most I have done to it is an alternator, battery and several sets of brakes. Also just had a semi major front-end overhaul (lower ball joints, tie rod ends, broken link on the sway bar and an idler arm.)

By contrast, my wife has put a whopping 15,000 miles on her 02 Acura in the 26 months she has owned it, and that includes about three 1,000 mile weekend trips for us. Her car was a cream puff till she tagged the garage door jamb on a rainy night a few weeks back.
