I guess when I go down for Christmas I can do that for her. It shouldn't be too much trouble to hook up a dual 1.8ghz G5 and an Apple Cinema Display. That's a lot of computer for a mom. :Q
 
sounds like the apple salesmen were very persuasive. i can just see it:

"you NEED dual processors to check your email and search for poodle web sites."
 
In all honesty, my mom runs a samll graphic design business, she'll be donig a lot of photoshop/illustrator/quark xpress work on the machine. And, if history is any indication, she'll probably keep this machine till 2007 or 2008, so it's good that she got a quick one now.
