israel occupied southern lebanon from the early 80's until about five years ago when it pulled out voluntarily. why in the world would they want to go back? there is zero support for it in the israeli population and they really dont want to extend themselves unnecessarily.

pull your heads out of whatever they are stuck in and stick news items with a modicum of facts behind them.
