So my guy finished up the arcade control panel I commissioned...

I'll assume that wasn't a tongue-in-cheek comment, and so I'll answer by letting you know light weight is a disadvantage. ;)

sanwa stick and buttons it looks like. nice, I love a good arcade stick myself. Got a MAS from the FS/FT here with a p360, feels nice. What games do you play?

Yeah, finkle's my guy. Small world. :)

I post as 454Casull.

James, it's a Sanwa stick, but I'm going to use Seimitsu buttons because Sanwa doesn't make black buttons. Screw-in, not snap-in.

ahh, you like the low feel of those sanwas? the diagonals are nice for t5 on a sanwa but i just didn't like how low they felt.

I never got into Tekken.

I'm trying to learn MSS and Santhrax. I've got a long way to go before I can hang with the guys at my local arcade.

Low feel? Do you mean the smaller size, or the shorter throw?

I got Japanese stuff because that's what my arcade uses. If the arcade had American cabs I would have made my own stick with Happ Controls parts. As it stands, I'm almost through building a Happ stick for a friend.

$60 CDN for what you see. If you take away the cost of the parts from the turn-key price (the one that he charges for online deals), I save a bit of money.

EDIT: I save about $40, not including the controller that I've hacked - it came with the Dreamcast I bought from somebody in FS/FT - RacerX is a great trader, btw.

i guess when i meant low feel, i was referring to the "shorter throw." Isn't everyone these days trying to learn Santhrax?

Edit: I haven't played MvC2 in a long time but from what I saw of some recent match vids, everyone was using the same team...i.e. Santhrax

very nice, I've been meaning to get one made as well, but don't know if I game enough to warrant it's purchase. it'll be a splurge down the line.

JWong is reported to have said that he uses Santhrax if he wants to win.

I'm not sure what the exact rank of the 4 God tier-characters are, but Storm and Sent are in the top 2.

EDIT: It's too bad Storm's LS hits so many times - when you DHC into HSF the combo counter is already pretty high, so that Sent's FF combo with CapCom doesn't do too much extra damage.
