i know this kid. he's 18, still lives with his parents: who buy all his food and clothes. he's never had a job, and spends his days playing WoW and posting about how much he hates his life on internet forums.

just wondering when you all think he'll manage to get his first job! he claims the economy is too piss poor for him to get a job with no experience, i say he's just being lazy. everyone tries to motivate him to get out of the house and make friends and get a job, but he never does anything.

Good thing I don't play WoW, otherwise I would probably socially inept like this dumbass. 😛 Fortunately I can actually make a conversation when I actually talk to people I want to talk to 😉

He could join the military, but give him a chance to get to level 70 first. 😛

But yeah sounds like a loser. Does he at least go to school still? If that's the case then it's not as bad, but if he's out of school and no job and just playing WoW then yeah, loser.
 
Well, I know someone who got his first job at about 24, but this same person actually did well in his undergrad and just finished a second degree (got a "real" job now). That and he never really bitched about how life sucks.

My guess is 23. Something'll happen, I hope, that helps him along.

Economy being shit means more temp jobs. Pay sucks, it's demeaning to qualified people, but expectations are low and it's a job.
