So my brother left for Thailand this morning...

Really! He graduates from med school in June so he is well aware of the hazards of HIV so I'm sure he'll be careful.

Tell him not to mention about the map to the secret island where a secluded community has been created to anyone.

What's the name of the movie? The Beach?

Make sure he stays away from the "Shew-pah She-kret Masshaage",

i went to thailand last year. i was only there for like 3~4 days though. one month is a heck of a long time. after that long, you either love a place or you hate it.

everything is dirt cheap. My one month's salary here can support me for six months in thailand. Although, english speaking people are rare and it was a pain to communicate once i was outside the hotel. I relied heavily on taxi and they never speak english.

They will charge you a 'foreigner rate' if you dont speak thai. All prices are negotiatiable.

Sex is cheap and all over the place. Beware of STDs, especially HIV.

ask him if he is going to any ping pong shows.

Hmmm...

My daughter may be traveling with a friend of hers and her family to Thailand for a few weeks this summer. I'm not sure on any details but I need to start checking, at least getting her a passport and working on Dr. permission for her medicines and such.

Oy....I'm already worrying...

😕
